Chapter 14



On highway
Manik was driving back frm office after attending meeting but he took a different route as he want to explore after long time he was in the city

But suddenly his car stop he came out and saw his tyre puncture he moved ahead it was a chawal and he asked mechanic to repair his car

Mean time when his car was being repaired he was roaming around and suddenly he saw many people had gathered after some distance and there was someone's cries he could hear

He moved to see what was happening he moved closer and saw a girl struggling to move out from grip of man

Nd then He moved ahead nd in a jerk he holded Harshad nd dragged him away frm her

He holded his collar nd said angrily yh kya badtamizi hai aur aap log yha khade hue yh sab dekh rahe ho he said moving his gaze toward people standing there

Girl was facing his back as he was holding his collar he didn't saw her

Harshad moved out from his grip and gritting his teeth he screamed what the hell tum hote kon ho mjh rokne wale do uh even know her he asked manik

After a pause he asked again jb tum jante nahi ho to tum hote kon ho he pushed him and again moved toward nandini

Manik turned around to stop him and then he saw a girl weeping badly wearing pink salwar suit face was pale then too she was not looking less then a fairy he recognised her she was the same hospital girl he met before

When he was admiring her Harshad held her arm and that brought manik back he moved and held his arm and freed nandini he was now standing between nandini and harshad holding his hand

Harshad: tumhari problem kya h yh hmare bich ki baat h hum khud sambhal lnge uh just move away m giving uhh last warning uh don't even know her then why r uh coming between us he freed his hand nd pointed his finger towards him

Manik closed his fist nd said it is my problem coz i can't see any jerk misbehaving lyk this with any girl and for your kind information i know her so you better stay away from her he replied pointing towards him

Manik was so much angry that even he didn't knew what was he saying he just met d girl one time that to for few minutes only and he said he knew her

Harshad glared him nd said don't try to act smart i know her very well nd i didn't saw uh before

Manik's anger was reaching peak

Harshad again spoke so uh better leave from here now its our matter and we'll solve it he said with same angry expressions

Manik moved one step ahead and said if you don't believe me ask her we know eachother he moved his gaze sideways to nandini and said tell him we have met before he said looking toward her


Harshad laughed out loud and said uh say uh know her and uhh didn't even know that she can't speak

Manik was shocked he felt pain near his heart he didn't knew what but something pinched him how much this girl is going through and she can't even speak

He was about to say something but then a voice came from behind Harshad

Harshad tum yha kya kar rhe ho

Harshad looked back he recognised d voice and his expression changed

It was his father principal of d school

Seeing his expression he was expecting him to scold him but to his shock he just move past him and held nandini's hand m sorry beta tumhe yh sb jhlna pda agr mjh pta hta ki Harshad yha h to m kbhi tumhe akele nhi chodta mjh sharam ati h yh khte hur ki yh mra beta h he glared harshad

Principal: woh mai bas pandit ji ko bulane gya tha pandit ji too came there

Nandini sobbed realising d thing again that she is all alone now in all this fiasco she was too scared but now reality hit her again nd she sat down hugged her lifeless mother

Manik was standing there in this he didn't realise what was d actual reason of people gathering there he saw her crying hugging d lady

A lady came and kept hand on her shoulder and said beta apko upar wale p bharosa rkhna chahy tumhari maa khi ni gyi h woh ab hamesha tumhare sath hi rhgi aur agr tum chahti ho ki uski atma ko shanti mile toh hme sb krna hga na pandit ji bh aa gy h beta

She moved nandini four people came nd carried meera to d place for further rituals everyone followed them

But there was a person who just couldn't digest d fact that how could god b so cruel to this pure soul he till now thought that he was unfair to him but today he was proved wrong and thought that he was unfair to her too nd more than him as he can atleast speak out his worries he can shout can take out he has inside him he can cry out loud share his feelings but for her destiny was too cruel

Everyone has gone only he was standing there and his thoughts were broken by d mechanic
Mec: sir m kbse apko dhund rha hu apki car thik ho gyi
Manik comes back he pays to him and move towards his car but still his heart and mind were stuck there only

He drives off from there
