She's stupid because here she is..extending herself to the length of keeping secrets from that one person who she loves the most in the world. The one person who's become her entire world for her. The one person who shields her like her shining armor, supports her like her best friend, guides her like her father, cares for her like her mother, loves her like a true lover and promises to hold her hand in this walk of life like a destined companion. She's stupid because she's promised this one person that she will always shine for him. That she will keep him in his blessings. And that she will always trust for him. Who cares if she knows that the minute this person finds out about the true intentions of Aryaman, he will snap and lose all control over his senses. Who cares if she knows that the minute this person finds out that Aryaman has being playing games with his shining star, the world will come to doom. Who cares if this girl wants to protect this person...her Monster...her Manik from his own wrath so he doesn't harm himself in the process of picking a war with their new opposition. She's stupid right? Of course she is.
She's stupid because she know the minute her Manik makes a mistake amidst his uncontrolled anger, his manipulative mother will step in to demand her share for using her power to free him from trouble. And so she's beyond frightened that her Manik may be pulled away from her again. Her heart is about to flip because she doesn't quite know how will she be able to battle it out with the vicious mum if she again puts forward some emotional blackmail talks to stay away from her Manik. How will she...survive? And so she's all set to believe that pshht...this can't be too difficult...can it? I shall be able to protect him at least. Doesn't matter about me here...he's the one who mustn't be harmed. Who mustn't be taken away from me. Because if he is...I just don't know how I will...survive? But yes of course...I forgot her act is so stupid these days.
She's stupid because instead of listening to her Manik's words, she's proving to be rather difficult and stubborn to get around her way. She's yelling and bickering and talking all sorts of senseless talks. Yet anyone pay attention to how difficult it is for her to put up a stance in front of the person whom she trusts more than herself? She's mumbling incoherent words with trembling lips. She's avoiding her gaze from his sight as if she's committed some murder. She's fighting with him, so she can fight for him. But oh no no no...she be the most stupid girl we've all seen right? CORRRECT!
She's stupid because "apparently" once Manik will find out about her secret-keeping, he will be angry? Uhh well...duhh. But anyone pay heed as to why? His anger will surface because uncaring of her own safety and well-being, she stood up to protect him. His anger will surface because in the fight to keep him close, if he would've lost her...he would've never been able to forgive himself. But that's the last of her worries for now. Her love is selfishly selfless. So what if she's never vocalised it? So what if she's never written it down as an official statement? The truth is...she could die for him for all she would care, just to make sure his world stays protected, shielded, unbroken. But yes of course it's stupid for one to think to this level of absurdity.
She's stupid because even if she may have never believed in superstitions before, she wants to believe in every game of karma today just so their love, their togetherness, their hamesha never gets jinxed. It's least to say she's overprotective...nope not of him, of her love, of his well-being, of his stars, of his smile, of his sparkling eyes, of his happiness. How does she let even a flicker of darkness seep through this boy's life who's spent his whole 19 years breathing this daunting dark. So she's ready to exhaust herself, latch this new evil darkness onto herself by including him in her music band so her Manik's world stays protected and brightly lit. But what do we call such people again? Oh right...stupid?
It's sad...it honestly is. To see such untainted and selfless love being labeled "stupid'. But you know what...madness is a synonym for stupid and I quite like that word for her. She's mad...absolutely crazy and if you wish to term her stupid, then I'll let you have your way with that too. But she's stupid because she is loved and she has loved. She is stupid because she doesn't understand rights, wrongs, logics, tactics, game-planning, secrets, lying, or anything as a matter of fact when it comes to her Manik. All she sees is him, his happiness and her promise to shine for him...hamesha. She's stupid because she stopped using her mind a long time ago because the heart took over when she fell in love. She's stupid because despite her petiteness, she wants to cuddle him in her mellowness and just hide him from the whole world.
And you know what? if she's stupid, he's just as stupid. Because he'll scold her, give her the silent treatment, refuse to look at her, fling off her touch when he finds out she hid this from him...but he will come around and envelop her into a bone-crushing hug and speak his fears of losing her. He will voice how his need of her is such that he won't be able to bear if someone ever separates them, so she dare keep anymore secrets from him again. And she will quietly and reassuringly cuddle in him to promise that she won't make this mistake again. But he knows...and she knows...that the other is equally stupid to repeat the mistake of selflessly protecting one another without caring for their own self. Why?
Because falling in love with each other was the most stupid sin they've ever committed and to amend that mistake for their next life, if god granted each one a wish...they'd both wish to be re-born as the stupid, destined lovers and commit the stupid mistake of falling in love again...
