"What is wrong with you Manik ..?? Kya kar rahe the tum..? " She said to him in high pitch.
"That bloody jerk.. how dare he mess up with me..?" Manik was all red in anger.
For the first time Nandini Saw so much anger in Manik's eyes. From the time she joined the office , she never saw him in so much anger. His Face and eyes were blood red due to the anger fuming inside him.
Nandini was about to say something when suddenly a car stopped at a distance at her back. Nandini turned her face to look back and suddenly the window pane started lowering down.
"Danish" she whispered slowly but it was audible enough for Manik.
"don't think I will let you go off so easily ... not this time .. you need to pay for your deeds and I will make sure you do that Nandini." .
Danish was throwing daggers from his eyes towards Nandini.
" how dare you...!!!" Manik grinded his teeth and said to him.
Nandini stood there silent because she knew arguing with Danish was a waste of time. But someone was surely not in the mood to take that threat from him.
Manik rushed towards the car but was again stopped by Nandini.
" Manik I said don't... Why don't you get it." She again pulled his arm and spoke in utter frustration. Meanwhile Danish drove off and Manik jerked his own hand to let it get free from her grip
. " why did you stop me I should have taught him good lesson right over here only. How dare he mess with me ... He tried to play with my career just for no good reason... And giving threats to you that too in front of me...why the hell did you stop me.?" He almost shouted on her.
"Are you out of your mind Manik ..?? you just now out of one trouble and now you want to land up in another just right now.. if you both would have been spotted fighting you better know what action could have been taken against you both .. this is an office Manik...
You both are professionals and not bloody street boys... the suspension letter which is in his hands right now would have been in your hand too... you want this to happen..??? Is this the reward I get for my work done..?? Is this Is why I proved you innocent so that the next moment you get suspended ...!!! Is this what I get..???? like seriously...????" She too shouted on him.

Manik looked at her and realised she was correct. She helped him to get out of the mess and he in return was again landing up into one. He tightly closed his eyes to calm himself down.
"Sorry..!" He managed to utter in low tone. She just nodded her head in reply.
" by the way how did you get to know about all this... I mean Cabir told me that you are on leave and we were trying to reach you since yesterday and Aaj bhi Vaibhav was trying to reach you but Tum unavailable thi. Tumhe pata kaise chala ki Ye Sab..
I mean it happened before 15 days so , how did you came to know. And plus Ye footage ... How did you managed all this..??" Manik curiously asked her .
"Aur tum itna panic kar rahi thi... You were almost unconscious just like that party day..?? What happened..?? And are you ok now..?"
His questions took her in the morning when she was all clueless about the things happening in the office.

The way chosen by her to prove Manik innocent was not easy . There were still 2 days left to go 15 days and still she had nothing. After days of hard work , she finally got through her work. When she managed to get into the system of the security office and what she saw shocked her. She saw the footage of the conference room and with the people present there and seeing Manik's expression , it was not hard for her to guess what must be the topic of discussion. She without wasting any more time , searched for the footage of that particular day and copied in the CD. Within no time she drove to her office.
Speed of her car Crossed 150 and her control over it at one point went all missing and she banged her car with the footpath. Although there were no injuries caused to her but the stress and sudden bang of her car caused a severe headache within minutes. She somehow managed to drive till the office and by the time she could reach the conference room she was all breathless and not having any further control over herself , she went unconscious and was about to fall when Manik grabbed her.

"Woh...actually..." She started stammering as she didn't wanted to let the thing come out.
"Leave it na.. Why bother...? The thing is now the problem is sorted , which we wanted. So now , what , let's just forget it. " she said to him.
Manik found it a bit strange. He had a confused look all over his face and was about to say something , when her phone rang.
"I need to go...!!!" She instantly said and went towards her car. Manik was bit confused and found her behaviour strange but still he went back to his place.

"Nanhii .. Were are you ...? Been calling you from so long.. You were you not picking up..?" Abhi said to her over.
"Bhai sorry wo I just.." She was explaining him but was cut in between by him
"what happened,,? You not well..? You sounding low. Nanhii.. Tell me .. Did you again got the attack..?" He questioned her.
Nandini wanted to lie to him to say all is fine but she knew him well ; and now being a doctor , it was just to impossible for her to lie to him regarding her health. So she told him the whole morning to the afternoon happenings ; including her car's collision. After listening to her , Abhi went all silent.
"Bhai ..? Bhai you there..?" She said to him.
"Nanhii.. I can't believe you can be soo irresponsible.. I understand the seriousness of situation but what if something big would have happened..? Why can't you just take care of yourself..? " he said to her in more of a anger tone filled with concern.
"Bhai I know I am at fault.. Am really sorry bhai...!!" She pleaded him and he again gave his brotherly instructions to her of being safe and let go off the topic.
Nandini then told him about the Manik's truth being proved and his clas with Danish.
"Don't worry baby.. Danish and Harshad will not be able to touch you till I am alive.. Don't worry..!" He assured her to not worry about the threat that Danish gave.

Manik reached his place and hugged Dhruv just the moment he opened the door. Manik's happiness has no boundaries. He had no hopes left upon the matter when he left from his place. He never thought things will turn up like this and we would return home all happy and filled with joy.
"Wow buddy... That's amazing... I mean we never thought that she could even turn up with a tiny proof but she gave the huge one which no one .. I mean no one could deny...! Really man hats off to her.." Dhruv exclaimed his happiness when Manik told him everything.
"I know.. It was really big.. But she did it.. For me..!"
Manik said muttering the last two words to himself only in which he succeed successfully as Dhruv didn't heard "FOR ME..!" .
"But Usne yes sab kiya kaise,,?" Dhruv said
. " I don't know.. Maine poocha bhi.. But she didn't tell me anything..!" Manik said while remembering her confused expressions when he asked for the same and started thinking about it.
Seeing him lost , Dhruv said , "it's ok buddy.. May be she doesn't want to reveal her source of helping her. What matters is she kept her words , and now everything is fine." Manik smiled and nodded his head.
"Waise tune use thanks to kiya na...? Ya iss baar bhi 'ohh please .. Thanks and me..?' wala attitude hi carry kiya." Dhruv asked him as he being his buddy knew him too well and thanks was a word people not special to him cannot hear , no matter they did what for him, because he was MANIK... and he don't say thanks to anyone...! ...
With this Manik's smile vanished and eyes widened..
"Nooo...!!!!! Actually Nahi ... GOD.. Buddy.. Shitt...!!" He almost shouted.
"You can't be serious buddy...!! At least she deserves your thank u.. What she did was not at all easy. You can't just let her go like this. She defiantly deserves a big thanks." Dhruv said.
"You are right.. I can't be mean this time.. I need to thank her...!" He said while taking out his cell and went towards the balcony to dail her number.

"Hey...!" Manik said as soon the phone as received.
"Umm.. Wo Nandini is not here.. I am her friend Navya." Nandini's phone was answered by Navya.
"Ohh.. Sorry... Ummm ... Hiii.. Ohh.. Actually.. I am manik... Her colleague...!!" He said in broken sentence not getting exactly what to say.
"I know.. I read your name...!" Navya replied. And Manik made face as it was oblivious from that she must have read the name.
"Ya of course... Silly me...!! Waise may I talk to Nandini." He said .
"Wo actually .. She's bit unwell.. and right now she's sleeping. Soo..!" Navya said but before she could complete..
Manik interrupted her and said.." What happened...? Is she alright...?" He said in a worried tone.
"Yaa she's fine nothing to worry...! It's just that.." But before Navya could say anything further .. Nandini woke up.
."Navya ...!" She called her from behind.
Navya turned and saw her standing at room's door.
"Arre nandu.. You up..! Yeh lo tumhara phone..!" Navya handed over her phone and went from there. Nandini saw the caller ID and answered the call.
"Hello .. Manik... Nandini..." She said...
"Nandini... Hey are you fine...? Kya hua tumhe..? Your friend said you are unwell and office mein bhi your condition was not stable...? Kya hua..? Are you okk..? You need help..? Did you checked with doctor...? Should I come..?" Manik was now very much worried and concerned for her.
It had been twice that he has seen her in such condition which was now making him more concerned for her. But there was something else which was making him restless. A feeling that was unknown for him. Which was pushing him towards her and he wasn't even realising this.
His care , his worry , his concern towards her was very new for both them. He wasn't sure why he was so much worried and she was all clueless that why his concern and attention was giving her a bit of peace.
"Relax Manik.. Nothing is wrong with me. It's just headache so I went for a nap.. Am all ok.. Don't worry.. Tum batao , kaise call kiya..?" She replied to him politely.
"Haan wo actually.. I forgot to say even thanks to you. Such a idiot I am. And upon on that indulged in that fight. Really Nandini.. I don't have enough words to thank u ; but really what you did , I could have never expected this from anyone. And seriously I wasn't even confident that you can do this or not. But trust me Nandini , you owe me for this , and I actually mean it. This selfless deed that you did , you have no idea how much respect you have earned from me." He was going all praising her.
"My GOD Manik... I haven't done so much also , tumne bahut zayda Bol diya. Please it's ok Manik. You don't need to thank me to such extent." She replied him politely. Manik smiled on her reply and they talked for few minutes and hanged up the call.
