I remember her asking him as he was pinning it up as to why she has a problem even if there's just a mild rip since Aliya/Mukti where those type of clothes and him saying that because he knows she will feel uncomfortable and she wouldn't consider it right. One might misunderstand it to be a gesture of insecurity or him being an over-possessive bf but no...for him it's always been about her sense of comfort and her dignity. She's a rather independent, self-respect and strong-willed individual and he's never wanted to overshadow or take that away from her for which reason he will make sure that her self-respect never gets scarred.
