There's something else about this scene...no matter how short her dresses be or what she wears...it's her eyes, her smile, the glowing aura of her face which he always worships and cherishes. His eyes just never let go of her face here and it's absolutely mesmerising!

I legit died when he said it didn't matter what she wore. All that mattered was her, her spirit, her positivity. And his eyes... The reverence, the devotion and love for her were shining through his eyes. And the exact same feeling was mirrored in her eyes.

THAT! And also I think apart from the lag of this track, I enjoyed many aspects of these episodes including one which was how he made her love herself, filled her with so much hope, optimism, strength and just picked her up everytime she felt as f she would crumble. It all added to her need of bringing the both of them home.

One could see the respect in his eyes for her throughout that convo! To the extent that he got her her clothes from the car. He has always respected her through his eyes and his gestures. Even during the Harshad exposure track, he gave his jacket to her in a very matter of fact manner. Until she was only with him it wasn't a big deal. But he din't want her to be in those clothes in front of others coz he knew she would be uncomfortable. That gesture during that scene was so subdued yet impact-ful of his nature.

me too!! The pandit drama, campaign and the merger aside, I loved how they grew as a unit. The moment she started to crumble, he started to support her. He made her fight, their's and he started to remove those conditionals on their love.

@janani- agree with you!! The mutual respect and admiration they share is one of the many reasons I love them. The physical attraction has always been the secondary factor in their relationship. It's them and their goodness, their very nature that had drawn them together. This made them all the more beautiful for me.

This one. Well they dint really emphasize on this bit but I just felt there was some sort of a hidden meaning to it. This was how I perceived it.

@Janani! Love what you brought up about the respect we always see in his eyes! In fact, that trails me back to Nandini's confession night just recently when they were both ready to take their relationship a step further. When she's about to head back in her room because of Amms and he wraps her in her scarf. WIN! There was so much substance in that scene. Because 1.. she had herself moved the scarf away when he tried covering up her broken strap; which was all in the moment of trust, love and the will to become one. but then later on when he covered her, that was him protecting her dignity and self-respect.That was enough to express how that night wouldn't have been theirs even if the alarm wouldn't have gone off tbh. How she dresses in front of him is a whole new different story in comparison to how he wants to protect her from the preying sights of the world. I can't help but think back to the scene when Fab 5 were all leaving for Soha's farmhouse and Nandini is in the dilemma whether she should tell Manik that soha plans to spike his drink that night and in that worry she rips her kurti. I remember her asking him as he was pinning it up as to why he has a problem even if there's just a mild rip since Aliya/Mukti where those type of clothes and him saying that because he knows she will feel uncomfortable and she wouldn't consider it right. One might misunderstand it to be a gesture of insecurity or him being an over-possessive bf but no...for him it's always been about her sense of comfort and her dignity. She's a rather independent, self-respect and strong-willed individual and he's never wanted to overshadow or take that away from her for which reason he will make sure that her self-respect never gets scarred.
