Thanks for the post. Well said👏
Funniest part is the people who are saying the episodes are boring or not worth a watch at all are the same people who said Nandini is not invested in this relationship as much as Manik and that's why they can't enjoy MaNan.
These are the same people who crib almost every week that Nandini's arc is missing. And when they are showing exactly that they dont like it..😆😆So their own actions speak for their reasons and intentions.😉
Coming to the other part I really enjoyed Last two episodes. CV's very well managed to keep MaNan feels intact. They showed Nandini bonding with other people and still made it all about Manik.. at the same time they managed to show their journey and Nandini's take on that.. Manik was always on her mind even when he was a Monster.. She analysed every move, every action of him even when she was unaware of his feelings or her own feelings for him(SOS game). this part wasn't explored much in the initial episodes though it was through Nandini's eyes we understood and saw the real Manik.. Her part of the story and her actual emotions had taken back seat then.. And I am glad they are making use of this opportunity to show her side of the story and VERBALIZE it(It was always there, her actions spoke for her.. but words added more depth now) .
Every scene in last two episodes had its own depth.. Nandini-Nyo scene wasn't just about Sassy Nandini from where I see it.. It was also about her internalizing Manik's words, understanding the damage Nyo caused to Manik's soul and taking a stand for him.. This also sets the base for coming tracks.. Nandini understanding dark shades of Nyo and taking baby steps in handling her is very much needed as Manik will need her more than ever when Soha's truth comes out or Harshad-Nyo angle will be explored.. He knew Nyo Manipulated Nandini, but he doesn't know that it was Nyo who created the situation at the first place.. So if it will be Nandini who will be handling the situation then understanding the opponent is very much needed.
I love the way Nandini is shown aware of Manik's likes and dislikes even when he didn't utter a word about it.. May it be her asking him to put the earring on her then or giving it to him in last episode just to let him know that she was here, will come back to him soon and eagerly waiting for him to wake up. Her putting the red lips on, just leave the imprints of her love on him the way he liked it, her bringing white flowers and talking about white dresses she wore for him and acknowledging that she always understood his eye talks.. It was so beautifully done.
And the way she shared her fears, her worry about how Manik might think he has no one for him if he wakes up and finds no one around, her guilt about not being able to do the same thing which he would have done if she was in hospital.. very well portrayal of emotions.
Her blabbering about their late night meet-ups and how she is missing it spoke a lot there.. It is so real.. even she wanted his presence all the time but as the girl who valued the opinion and emotions of her family she had to live in that boundary. Again Cabeer mentioning that there will be no1 waiting for them and she has a family added more poignancy to the scene.
Nandini-Chachi scene was so well written and enacted without going OTT.. Nandini finally breaking into tears speaks a lot about how hard she was trying to hold it back and stay strong for Manik's sake.
I will forever cherish these episodes and these were not filler episodes in any sense. At least for me it added more depth to MaNan relationship and their understanding.
A Huge round of applauds to the whole team, special mention to writers and Niti Taylor👏👏. She truly shone brighter than ever and gave her 100% or more if that is possible in every single scene. Kudos to the girl for carrying the whole episode on her shoulders and managing it so well even when she wasn't keeping well and was working under pressure. She deserves all the support, love and respect.
