You need a TV tuner card as you can't directly transfer recorded stuff from Tata Sky to your pc as its encrypted.

I know Adhi..that is one of the ways..However I can also use a hard disk directly. Let me see what works. I might be able to come up with something but it will most likely not be today.🤔

The thing is I think due to copyright its encrypted so actually need a TV tuner card to decrypt the damn thing as far as what I know. See how it works!😆

hey guys i brought the tata sky plus hd dvr and i recorded some video but i cant able to transfer the files to my pc but when i check through internet there is a option to transfer the files to my pc but i don't know how to do please help me guys and also help me how to connect the dvr to my laptop.i don't have TV tuner card but my laptop have HDMI option and dvr has the same can i connect both by using the hdmi cable. if i can then how can i watch video in my laptop pls help me guys thanks in advance

### Best Answer: connect your tata sky with the data cable into computer or is there any option for usb device in your tata sky ? if yes then insert USB drive (Pen Drive ) or external Hard disk . then by the remote of tata sky you can transfer recorded movies to the Pen drive ... Hope will be help ful ..

I could get a USB tuner arranged by someone I know...that's a possibility too.

Thanks for trying..but that's not helpful.😳 The main problem is that the pen drive or hard disk will have raw data that a PC can't read. But there are ways to work around that.
