Dhruv did seem sweet at that point of time...manik was so bad that dhruv seemed the sweetest guy ever...the punching toy that he gifted nandini was a good gesture...and their conversations were cute...of course they didnt match the intensity of manik and nandu..but still they were normal regular convos and they brought balance to the show..balance in the sense we got some respite from the high intensity fights and arguments of Manan..

So i would say there were one or two episodes when Dhruni seemed like a possibility...you know just like Nandini wonders in one of the episodes why cant she choose dhruv..he has every quality that she likes...similarly the audience too felt just for that one moment that maybe maybe Dhruni could happen though everybody including Nandini knew that it was Manik for her...forever

BOLD for some reasons now that i re-watch that scene i feel he meant every single word of tht apology but then not wanting do ruin his monster reputation he started mocking next moment saying he whr u expecting this reaction...
