I actually felt nice for the makers, not an easy job to manage this transition for a long daily running youth show. The tone shift is smooth for now. They finally have given a refreshing shake-up to every character. Nice that Aryamaan is blending well, Uttu's off is such a blessing.

The "element of danger/threat" is gone which makes it instantly nice.

YRF shows were nice- Rhista.com, Powder and my fav Kismat .

But season 2 never came up cos their shows failed to garner enough TRPs. Really surprising.

Or maybe not considering they WERE ahead of their time and we know what the Indian audience was and is like.

Have you watched Seven? That was great too.

These shows, had they gone for a longer time, could have been much more popular. the forums hardly have any activity visible too. Many came to know later...

@bold: this exactly!!

@anu: i dont think there would be any contrived mu or snything here cos the way the story has been set so far also this show cannot be in the league of all the other GEC shows anyway cos MTV in general isnt high on ratings so there is scope for them to go the way they are going and try and be somewhat non cliched.

i have never seen any show by gul khan but i am assuming not the best experience😛

VK- Hope mat karo, they have bought time now by this new shake-up. Parth will stay coz JDJ. MaNan conflict shouldn't be there we had back to back tracks around it, I think for now it's Nandu's arc and around which the conflict is build . Then they will play with Manik and keep at it.

The big past, other tracks like Aliens, and stuff are tropes teased , they are just things they will play only when they need to raise the drama to another level and are nearing the end. Coz they are not story but hook stuff.

LOL you're like the 10th person to ask me this...is everyone watching this show nowadays kya? Nope I haven't watched it...actors didn't seem impressive to me from promos.

I catch up on Reporters when I get a chance.

@white_beauty: LOL so if not contrived MUs, then what else is left to bring in "drama" with? Then they might as well end the show with a happily ever after...but that also they aren't in the mood for😆...so they will drag with somewhat contrived reasons only in terms of "issues" b/w MaNan...cuz tell me what other issues can/will they construct b/w Manan after this trauma issue is resolved?

It's not about being on a GEC or not...if you drag a show past it's expiry date, only contrivances are left.

its too early to say but i like aryamann and alya. also dont know about arya alya as a couple but can dhruv and alya please not be the end game!

Yes please! Can we have a back story for him and can he not be lame as Abhi?

I want him to become the one later addition/cameo that stays on for good. He should have been there from the beginning. Interesting possibility. But let's see how he performs in the upcoming days..

Uttu sold for first few months I guess but his non-acting became much more of an eyesore when the Musicana conflict happened(for me) . Also, I have never even felt an iota of something for DhruLya. They are just not meant to be together. They don't communicate well and he has wronged her beyond redemption in my opinion. Or I'm being too harsh maybe.

Don't care if Alya stays single just no reconciliation please.

the promos didn't intrigue or impress me either. SP hasn't promoted the show well. They solely focussed on Radhika's small town ghisi-piti story...

but it caught my attention one day.

I like the other two leads--Samaira and Arjun. Great chemistry and plot there. I love Samaira's character...Also, they are acting good in my opinion. Just check it out someday? :)

@anu: internal conflicts can work for them them having conflicts individually can work. honestly i dont see them falling for any misunderstanding externals simply dont matter to them. even IHU was never a misunderstanding but ideology issue. IHU track they were together only according to me just fighting😆
