@coochi: totally agreed with the alya/soha parallels because to these two the only way to get attentions from manik was through appearance but manik was so fallen for nandini that they could be wearing anything and his mind would still be on nandini. You know that scene where manik says that he doesn't care what nandini wears, thats the manik alya and soha don't see, they put effort into their appearance rather than personality to gain attention.

@geet: nandini was always one step ahead 😉 she knew from the beginning that manik was just stringing soha along, she didn't even question his faithfulness to her, instead just knew it was a game.

OH HELL YAS. Just watched this scene a couple of minutes ago, god he just wanted to feel that feeling of nandini's touch on him and he didn't want it to be tainted by anyone else. It was almost like nandini was the only one who had the right to touch him the way she did and no one else.

aww the tickling scene was adorable.

I honestly loved the scene just after the whole 'nandini could have died due to that string' incident, and then manik just hugs her in front of everyone. That was honestly perfect and all sorts of beautiful.

I think Manik never gave much importance to anybodys physical appearance. I never saw him taunting any other guy/girl on their looks even though he is the hottest hunk of his college.
This shows how awesome that guy is from inside. The guy is so pure by heart that he noticed their inner qualities and not their looks. And how beautiful is Nandini to peep inside his monster mask and love this lovely person.

actually that is very true, most guys on television, especially the younger ones are generalised as the 'casanova' 'playboy' type of boys, the guys who went around breaking hearts back and forth until he found the 'right' one. But with Manik that wasn't it, he had a girlfriend was 7 years, he loved her loyally, he stayed by her side, he was her best friend and he treated her with respect. I see this even more with Manik and Mukti scenes, watching those two always makes my heart hurt because you can see that bro-sis relationship between them two, and I think it's because of both alya and mukti that Manik is that caring, loving, respectful to women guy.
