You feel dirty for years. No matter the extent. Whether he intended to cross that line or not. The fact is he touched her without permission, stake his claim on her. And she was tied up. The helplessness of it all...
Sorry but I saw what the MF thought but couldn't post then. Letting it out now.

Nicely said, it a indeed the icing on the cake to see that the shows has very closely tried to the acuteness of the situation after the incident. For any person the post-trauma effects are show more drastic consequences that the actual incident itself. Because the mind of the person in question dwells in the memory of the trauma. the impact is so huge that they are unable to differentiate between reality and past.

The one scene that according to me truly portrayed the graveness of the situation was the slap scene. Where Manik slaps Nandini to awaken her from from her delusion in which she was suffocating herself. And no matter how brave a person is you are engulfed by a feeling of hollowness and sucked into an impending dark place.

@RI- This show works on creating tracks out of traits. His traits, his flaws are the character sketch always . You don't have an A to B story here but characters who have flaws and they draw out the arc.

If you mean his anger, his impulsiveness - that reeks al the time.

But I love it more when you have ML sit down with Cabir and say dude, my impulsiveness screwed me over and I lost Nandini. If Nandu's fears influence her actions in respect to Manik , same goes for him too.

He has lost her way too many times , more because of his traits like anger, impulsiveness. Heck his V-day break up was impulsive . His Mo is always the same - the challenges, but he saw the toll it took on Nandu , she needed his TLC and thats when the stupid contriving MO went away. But you knwo he has seen how his impulsiveness has damaged specially his bond with Nandu which is why before the second pool scene- he was the one talking sense. When you have your own glaring traits take away something you love again and again, you become more aware of them and try to resent them. But it slips like the attack on pandit- it was both impulsive, anger and rash. Thats him again. Just before he had nothing to lose , now he does.

It's interesting how he is believing all things she represented- hope, positivity in negatives, new day because he has had experiences which supported it.

I really like how they have managed his transition . But rest assured, his traits will always factor coz it's never the externals but his internal issues that create plot arcs.
