I never understood what he meant on NYE, he didn't answer her question and his whole with me, protect me thing seemed like crap. I never understood what assurance Nandini found in those words of his. Today, I did. They're just so beautiful. I hope they find all the happiness in the world, and more. 😭

The song didn't matter , tacky clothes couldn't dampen the love these kids were feeling for each other. They won against all odds. It might seem silly , but it isn't they know how hard fought this moment has been. They wanted this stage, this day to be their statement to the world, every conflict . And they nailed it.

They both were so giddy, his heart was beating with her name and she had only him in her mind, eyes closed or not.

Nandu taking on Nyo , the moment she threatened her man's happiness. Baws stuff. long time coming, Nandini Moorthy, all you needed was this assurance of love from your man , this confidence that he won't leave you ever. He fought for her hope and she will for his happiness .

Creatives , writers , paNi big big hug . Awesome.

Still no tacky clothes confession, kay.

He finally told her what he couldn't during NYE - she is his being, so friends or not, there is no separation from MaNan. This time when he holds her hand even when there is a fab5 moment , there is no guilt , he knows where she belongs, what she is to him and she is secured too.

Gah so happy for these kids, and this when they haven't said the words yet. They deserve every bit of this .

Despite the poor choice of song and despite the ugly clothes, their love for each other was shining through every word, through every note. How she looked at him, how he looked at her. So lost, so enamoured. Everything was about them. Nothing mattered, noone mattered. How they performed did not matter. What they sang did not matter. What mattered, was that they were together. In harmony. She the lyrics to his melody. Their hope winning the day.

And when the performance was over, the way they looked at each other. Drowning in each others eyes. Everything they wanted to say to each other was right there, unsaid but heard. Every single word. Every syllable felt. So overwhelming, so much that she had to rush out. And he followed suit. And the way she expressed her joy. That it was a miracle. A miracle indeed. For them to have overcome everything. She would have performed alone or with Dhruv, for her Amms. But this, them, together. To her, this was a miracle in deed. And how he looked at her. OMG. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT HER RIGHT IN THAT MOMENT AS SHE WAS BEING HAPPY. HIS EYES. THE INTENSITY IN HIS EYES. ASDFGHJKL. GAVE ME SO MANY FEELS. And the moment he takes her heart and makes her feel his heartbeat, which is probably beating in tandem with hers. Fast. I DIED WITH FEELS

I wasnt at the AT for NYE wala epi, don't know but to me the NYE thing made a lot of sense.. I understood what he was trying to say and what reassurance lay in that. yet, it was not completely expressed.. This track was also the expression of that..
But aaj, aaj was something else. So special..
