Watching the episode, halfway through and its lovely.

Increasingly seems like MaNan are playing role reversal. Its uber sweet to watch Manik as the ever flowing hope well and Nandini as its arid drinker.

Good news about Dhruv backing off himself, otherwise he would have gone beyond redemption on some scales.

While catching up on the last TWO week's episodes, there were two clear instances where Dhruv, outwardly miffed with his friends, putting on a stone-cold facade in front of Nandini, even this Dhruv was shown to sit up and notice with apprehension, the Pandit's attempts to shake up Nandini.

A) Brutally pressing her finger into the veena string, drawing blood.

B) Where Nandini sings bad and Pandit scolds her, there too Dhruv was sneaking worried glances at her.

This might be the reason he will make way for Manik

Pandit again took Nandini to the classroom (but a different one from their routine classes), there was dhruv in the room too. Then, Pandit took away nandini and dhruv's phone saying that its not allowed in class room.

He further sent dhruv to practice in another room, making the excuse that weaker students (referring to nandini) need separate guidance sessions.

The precap shows pandit telling nandini to sit down and pray in front of God's idol, for better sense etc etc. Nandini eyes are shown closed in prayer while pandit circles silently around the room, standing behind nandini.
