People might believe this current track is some major path-breaking one but no one can deny that it doesn't come ANYWHERE close to the attraction/falling in love phase, i.e the first 6-7 months. It was the most exciting phase in terms of storyline and whatever genius track the writers think of now, they wont will be able to match up to those months because MaNan were in a completely different stage in their relationship altogether. Their first kiss was equal to a love confession for me and every show loses its momentum after the confession. I think this happens coz the writers themselves lose interest because according to them most of their work is over by then. But this show stuck it out even after that. So I'm willing to cut them some slack coz atleast they have constantly TRIED to show growth and progress in MaNan and not inserted random contrived misunderstandings to separate them...which as you would know is a common norm in every other show.In short, I dont watch the show for a 'story' anymore because then I would be left utterly dissatisfied and confused. I see it only for the MaNan moments and chemistry. Which is why I was left upset yesterday because a potentially good scene was cut to just a couple of minutes..
I think most of us have stopped expecting the tight scripting of the first few months anyways...and I concur with you about the kiss being equivalent to the confession high point...
But these ppl still did a better job than most shows of managing momentum even post the big kiss in terms of the Musicana track and even the Soha track, dragged as it was.
This current track is just something else...
Ultimately even for the romantic moments to work, the premise needs to have some sort of basic credibility...which in this fusion track has been too jumbled up to get any clarity.
But yes, even as stand alones, they could execute the romantic moments better in some cases.
