CHAPTER 33
It was 9 am in the morning when Manik woke up and saw her girl sleeping in his arms like a baby. He kept admiring her for a while. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead and then keeping her head gently on the pillow he started going to the washroom but Nandini held his hand. She was awake so Manik smiled and said," Good Morning angel." Nandini said sweetly in her sleepy voice," Good morning baby." Manik smiled and turned around to go to washroom but Nandini again held his hand and said," Where are you going?" Manik said," It's 9:30 am and we have to reach Mumbai soon. So I am going to get ready." Nandini raised her arms in the air and said," Take me with you." Manik happily agreed and picked her up in his arms and went inside the washroom. Meanwhile, Cabir and Navya were sleeping together and Navya woke up with the sound of the alarm. She saw herself in the arms of Cabir. She blushed thinking about yesterday and then wearing his shirt she went indide the washroom to get ready. As soon as she came out she saw Cabir has already woke up. Cabir saw her all dressed and went near her and gave her a good morning kiss and then he also went to get ready. Aliya, Mukti, Dhruv and Abhi also woke up and started getting ready. Meanwhile, MaNan were ready and were in the kitchen. Nandini was making coffee for everyone and Manik was teasing her by tickling her or kissing her again and again. Nandini was wearing a light blue rugged jeans and a white netted loose top.
Manik was wearing light blue jean shorts, white t shirt and a navy blue blazer. Nandini was pouring coffee in the mugs and Manik hugged her from behind and bit her earlobe. She started getting shivers in her whole body and she moaned his name. Manik smirked and then started kissing her neck and she bit her lips. She was done with pouring coffee so she turned around and started kissing him passionately. He was taken aback with this sudden kiss but he also started kissing her hungrily. Nandini pushed Manik till the kitchen slab which was near ths Refrigerator while kissing him and running her hands overs his body while Manik did the same. She broke the kiss and was breathing heavily and Manik was just admiring her and he was also breathing heavily. Nandini blushed as she saw Manik looking at her so intensely. She started going back but Manik held her hand with his right hand and made her sit on the kitchen slab and with the other hand he opened the refrigerator. He saw some white cream kept in a large bowl. He dipped his finger in it and put it in her mouth and some on her lips and then started kissing and licking her lips passionately. He was between her legs and she comfotably wrapped her legs around his hips. After a few moments, Nandini did the same but their trance was broken by Cabir's voice. He shouted," Manik and Nandini please stop your romance wherever you both are. Hum sab aa rahe hai niche." They both moved away and she jumped down from the kitchen slab.
They both straightened up and then both went out of the kitchen. Everyone was staring at them. Nandini was blushing hard which was clearly seen on her tomato like flushed face while Manik was looking here and there. Cabir said," So now kitchen is the new place for making out." Everyone chuckled but Nandini immediately said," I was actually making coffee for everyone and this monster was troubling me." Manik gave a fake smile to everyone and then ordered a servant to serve coffee to everyone. Everyone had their coffee while talking and teasing all the couples especially MaNan. After some time, everyone took their bags and went out.
Cabir: So guys. Let's get going.
Mukti: Yeah! Let's go.
Manik: Okay guys. Bye. See you in Mumbai.
Cabir: What? Tu nahi aa raha hai?
Manik pointed towards his bike and everyone understood but they were shocked at the same time as it was very strange as Manik would never travel on a bike.
Cabir: Okay bro! But ye bike chalane ka shauk kabse lag gaya tujhe?
Manik: Nandini always wanted to ride on a bike so I bought it for her. But trust me riding on a bike is fun.
Everyone smiled seeing the new side of Manik and after biding good bye to everyone Manik and Nandini sat on the bike wearing there helmets which brought a big smile on everyone's face. He started the bike and Nandini held him tightly.
Aliya: Drive safe!
Manik showed a thumbs up to them and they drove off followed by the others. Dhruv and Abhi on the front seats.
Cabir sat on the middle seat and Mukti lied down keeping her head on his lap. Aliya and Navya sat on the back seats. They played some nice music and were enjoying while MaNan were alsa having fun. Nandini rested her head on Manik's back and her arms were wrapped around him. She closed her eyes and said," Manik thank you so much for bringing me here. I enjoyed so much." Manik smiled and said," It is my pleasure baby. It was my best experience. I love you." Nandini kissed on his neck and whispered in his ear," I love you more." Manik said," Nandini if you keep doing such things then it will be impossible for me to control. Nandini blushed and said," Who told you to control baby?" Manik immediately stopped the bike due to which Nandini went closer to him with a jerk and kissed his neck accidently. Manik just turned around and she tilted her face a bit and they moved closer to each other for a kiss. It was a lone place so very few cars passed by their. They were about to kiss when Cabir's car came there and he opened the window and said," Manik road pe to romance shuru mat kar." They both looked around and saw Cabir's car with everyone chuckling looking at their flushed faces. Manik said," Cabir! Why do you always land up on wrong timing," Cabir chuckled and Manik started driving without saying anyting further and Nandini was blushing all the time. Dhruv started driving again and soon everyone reached Mumbai.
It was Cabir's car so Dhruv dropped everyone and then at last he stopped at his place and Cabir drove off from there. Meanwhile, Manik reached Nandini's place and they Nandini got down from the bike. Manik took off his helmet and ruffled his hair and stood taking the support of the bike. Then they both kept looking into each other's eyes. Manik held her hand and started caressing it slowly. Nandini cupped his face and he looked up and then Nandini said while caressing his face," Manik I know you don't want to leave. Trust me I also don't want to go." Manik kissed her hand gently and said," I will miss you." Nandini brought their hands towards her face with her other hand and kissed Manik's hand and said," I will miss you too. Aaj I have to spend time with Chacha Chachi and Rishab. But tomorrow we will meet na and after that school me to we are always together." Manik smiled and stood up straight and hugged her tightly and she also hugged him with equal force. After breaking the hug, Manik placed a soft kiss on her forehead and Nandini smiled and said," Bye monster. I love you." Manik said," Bye angel. I love you more." Nandini went towards the door and again turned back giving a sweet smile to him and then went inside. She hugged Chacha chachi and Rishab and then she ran upstairs saying that she will come after freshening up. She went towards the window and saw her monster waiting to see her. At the same time, he looked up and saw Nandini smiling at him.
She waved him good bye and he left giving her a flying kiss to which she blushed. After freshening uo she joined her family for lunch. She spent the rest of thr day with them, talking and laughing with them, playing with her baby brother whom she loved a lot. But she was missing her man badly. At the same time, Manik spent the rest of the day playing his guitar and singing songs and missing her angel. It was around 9 pm. He had his dinner and wore black tracks and grey vest and sat in his room, near the balcony taking the support of the wall. He was strumming hid guitar strings and started singing with his eyes closed.
Kabhi chup chup rahe kabhi gaaya ye kare ( he started imagining Nandini in front of him. He saw that she was smiling looking at him and he was singing for her.)
Bin pooche tere tariffein sunaya ye karen
Hai koi haqeeqat tu ya koi fasana hai ( Imaginery Nandini came and lied down on his lap and then suddenly disappeard to which Manik panicked thinking that it was his imagination)
Kuch jaane agar toh itna ki yeh tera deewana hai

At the same time, Nandini was in her room sitting near the window and resting her head on the wall. Her eyes were closed and suddenly someone cupped her face and started caressing it. She happily said," Manik." And opened her eyes but she saw Chachi caressing her face. Chachi was smiling at her and said," Kya kaha tune? Manik?" Nandini said," Nahi to. Maine aisa kuch nahi kaha."
She looked here and there to avoid eye contact. Chachi just smiled looking at and then left saying," Nandu pata hai tu meri bacchi jaisi hai. Tujhe koi bhi bat batani ho to bina dare bata dena. You know I am very modern." Nandini sat near the window again thinking about what Chachi had said and then she again started thinking about her monster. Meanwhile, Manik was singing while smiling and blushing.
Rag rag woh samaaya mere
Dil par woh chaaya mere
Mujh mein woh aise jaise jaan
( He again started imagining Nandini who was caressing his face and placinh soft kisses on his cheeks, forehead and eyes.)
Gire barsaat me paani jaise
Koi kahaani jaise
Dil se ho dil tak jo bayaan
(Again Nandini disappeared to which Manik started smiling and at the same time Nyonika was passing by and she saw Manik happily singing.)
Aashiq dil tera purana hai yeh
Deewana deewana samjhe na ho
Nyonika was surprised so she entered Manik's room and saw him smiling while playing his guitar. She came near him and started clapping while giving him a fake smile. Manik rolled his eyes and stood up placing his guitar on the floor. Nyonika said," Wow Manik. That was amazing." Manik gave her an angry look and said," Nyonika. Please stop it. Why are you even standing in my room?" Nyonika smirked and said," I saw you happy after a long time so mai puchne aayi thi that why are you so happy." Manik said," Oh really? Tumhe kabse meri parwah hone lagi. Anyways if your drama is over you can get out."
Nyonika angrily said," Manik. I am your mother. Don't be so rude to me." Manik said," You might be my so called mother but I am sorry I am not your son. Bye." He started going out but Nyonika stopped him and said," Where do you think you are going?" Manik said," Mai Nandini ke pas ja raha hu." Nyonika was shocked. She thought how on earth Manik came to know that she was alive. Seeing her shocked face Manik said," Why are you so shocked? You heard it right I am going to meet my angel." Nyonika said," Where did you meet her?" Manik said," It's none of your business. And tell me one thing did you know that she was alive all this time?" Nyonika just gave her evil smirk and Manik understood that she had been lying all this time. He went out with tears in his eyes and drove off to Nandini's place. He parked his car and stood taking the support of his car. He kept looking at the window to get a glimpse of her but he saw that the lights of her room were switched off. Meanwhile, Nandini was in her room lying on the bed but not able to sleep. She changed her position again and again but still she couldn't sleep. She sat on the bed and turned on the lights. She went towards the window and saw Manik standing there and looking at her window. Manik felt very happy seeing her and she also felt very happy seeing him. She immediately went out of her room and slowly went outside her house without making any noise. She ran and hugged him tightly and he also hugged her back with equal force.
They stood there hugging each other for a long time. Both were trying to pull each other more close not wanting to leave. Manik's hands were on her hair caressing it and he placed his head on her neck and his eyes were closed. He was happy, relaxed but at the same time he was shattered. At the same time, Nandini's hands were wrapped around him and her head rested on his chest. Her eyes were closed and she was feeling his heart beats. She suddenly broke the hug as she felt something wet on her neck. She looked at Manik whose eyes were blood red and he looked shattered. She immediately cupped his face and asked," Manik what happened? Please share it with me. I can't see you like this." Manik held her hands and which were on his cheeks and kissed them gently and slowly one by one. He took the support of the car and stood there holding her hands and looking down. Nandini came beside him and said," Kya hua Manik? Tell me." Manik looked up and said," I was missing you. So I just came to see you." Nandini smiled but deep down she knew something was definetely wrong with him. They stood there for a while without speaking but just looking at each other. After some time, Manik said good bye and sat inside his car and looked at Nandini through the side mirror. He saw that she was sad. It was clearly visible through her face. He started remembering those moments of his childhood which he spent thinking that she was no more.
He used to cry and shout but no one was there with him to calm him down. Even a thought about it would give him goose bumps. He suddenly stopped his car and ran towards Nandini and hugged her tightly. She moved a little back with so much force but she also hugged him back with and rubbed his back to calm him down. After breaking the hug, Manik cupped her face and said," Don't ever leave me Nandini. I can't live without you. You have no idea how I haved lived all these years without you. Thinking that you were.." He stopped and kept looking at Nandini. Nandini said," Manik I am here with you and I will be with you always." Manik asked," Humesha? Promise?" Nandini smiled and said," Humesha. And that is a Nandini promise." Manik smiled and kissed her forehead. Nandini looked into his eyes to find some answers. Suddenly, he started speaking. He said," It's Nyonika. She knew all the time that you were alive and she lied to me. She knew that I loved you so much. You were my best friend but she chose to hurt me. She never leaves a chance to hurt me." Nandini wiped his tears and said," Manik now I am here and I am not going anywhere. I promise. Now please don't be sad and give me my old Manik back." She caressed his face and continued speaking," Who would always try to be naughty with me, make me smile and." She rubbed his lips and said,"And who would never miss a chance to kiss me." Manik smiled at her and she felt very happy.
She moved close to his lips and he also moved closer to her lips placing his hands on her waist. Their lips touched and they kissed each other as lightly as possible. After a few minutes, they broke the kiss and kept looking into each other's eyes. Manik cupped her face and said," You are the best Nandu. You always make me smile no matter what I am going through." Nandini kissed his palm and said," And I will always be there for you whenever you want. And I promise to make you smile everytime you are sad." Manik looked into her eyes and softly said," I love you." Nandini blushed and said," I love you more." They stood there for a long time talking and smiling with each other and after that Manik went to his car after giving a soft peck on her lips. She went to her room and waved him good bye and he left giving her a flying kiss and she blushed as usual. They both slept peacefully thinking about each other.
NEXT MORNING
It was 9 am in the morning when Mukti woke up. She went to her washroom and came out after taking a hot shower. She came out wearing her bath robe and was taking out clothes from her cupboard. She took out a black short skirt with black crop top but then she saw some of her old clothes. They were a little girly kinda clothes. She took out a peach and white coloured short dress. She looked at herself in the mirrpr and immediately wore it and was looking at herself from all the angles. She smiled looking at herself and suddenly she saw Abhi behind him from the mirror. He came near her and said," Your smile is very beautiful. Keep smiling." She turned around and he disappeared. She said to herself," Why am I thinking about Abhi? Am I falling.. No. I am not. Love is a waste of time. I am just atrracted towards him I guess. This is just temporary attraction." She brushed away all the thoughts from her mind and went downstairs. Meanwhile, Nandini was ready and was wearing a white jeans and a baby pink full sleeved crop top. She woke up Navya and told her that she is going to Manik's place. She went downstairs and went towards Chachi with all her courage. Chachi: Aree wahh! Meri Nandu kitni pyaari lag rahi hai. Kahi ja rahi hai kya?
Nandini: Thank you Chachi. Woh mai Manik ke ghar ja rahi hu. Wo mujhe.
Chachi smiled: Koi bahana banane ki koshish mat karna. Tu achese jana. Aur han aaj ratko tere sare friends ko dinner pe bulana. Aur fir yahi se sab station chale jana.
Nandini: Okay chachi. You are the best. I love you. Bye.
Chachi: Bye beta.
Nandini reached Manik's place as soon as possible and went straight to his room. She didn't find Manik in his room so she went downstairs and started calling his name. A servant came and told her that he is on the pool side. She went near the pool side and at the same time he came out of the pool. As soon as he saw Nandini, he came towards the edge of the pool where Nandini was standing. Nandini moved back and said," Don't you dare pull me inside." Manik smiled and Nandini continued," Manik jaldi se get out of the pool. It's urgent." Manik came out fastly and dried himself with the towel and then Nandini dragged him inside his house. Manik asked," Nandini what is so urgent that you are dragging me like this." Nandini said," Manik don't ask questions and tumhare room me chalo." They were in front of his room and hearing this, Manik smirked and pulled her closer. He said," Okay. So this was the urgency." Nandini gave a confused look to him and then Manik pinned her to the door of his room. At the same time, Nyonika came there hearing all those noises and looked pissed off. At the same time,Manik started kissing her passionately. She was shocked at first but she also started kissing him wildly. Manik unlocked the door and they went inside the room kissing each other. Nyonika said," Is that girl Nandini? Because of her Manik has changed again. I won't let this happen." She smirked and left. Meanwhile, MaNan moved towards the bed while kissing and Nandini fell on the bed. Manik went and locked the door and went on top of her.
Nandini said," I wasn't talking about this Manik." Manik was ashamed and he moved back quickly and looked here and there. He then looked towards her and said," I am so sorry baby. I thought.." Nandini came beside him and said," It's okay Manik. And please don't feel guilty. I also want do it." Manik cupped her face and said," Please don't take me wrong. Tumhe lag raha hoga that I always want to do it." Nandini placed her fingers on his lips and said," Shhh. Manik let's do it. Cause kal se we will be at school. And" Manik said," Are you sure?" Nandini simply nodded her head and she removed her top and went towards Manik. She caressed his chest while kissing him and he opened her bra while kissing and they fell on the bed. They removed each other's clothes and made love. After some time, they both lied on the bed beside each other breathing heavily. Nandini suddenly got up and wore her clothes while Manik was just admiring her beauty. She opened his cupboard and took out some clothes. She threw it on him and said," Manik get ready fast. You are going to take me on a mumbai tour." Manik stood up and said," As you say angel." He went inside the washroom giving her a peck on her cheek. Meanwhile, Aliya was in her room packing her bags when the door bell rang and it was Dhruv. Aliya hugged him tightly and kissed him on his cheek. Dhruv gave her red roses and she happily put it in her flower pot. They both went inside her room and Aliya finished her packing as soon as possible.
They both started talking and after some time, they thought of watching a movie together. They started watching a movie on her laptop. They were enjoying and laughing together. After some time, there was an intimate scene going on so then they had an eye lock. Aliya started moving towards his lips and Dhruv cupped her face. He kissed her slowly and she also responded and soon their kiss turned into a passionate one and Aliya fell on the bed with Dhruv on top of her. They started making out and removing each other's clothes. Suddenly, Aliya stopped him and sat on the edge of the bed and wore her top which he had removed. Dhruv went near her and kissed her neck from behind to which she moaned his name. Aliya was enjoying ut but she thought that they were going too fast. She said," Dhruv I think we should take it slow." Dhruv wore his shirt and came in front of her. He cupped her face and said," Aliya we won't go fast. Okay? There is no hurry." Aliya felt happy hearing this so she just hugged him tightly with a smile on her face.
Meanwhile, Manik got ready and he wore black jeans and a light blue shirt. They went to his car and he started driving but he didn't tell Nandini where they were going. Nandini also didn't ask and was enjoying the ride. Thet roamed accross the city and Manik took her to all his favourite places. It was too hot so they just roamed in the car. Meanwhile, Mukti was playing her guitar but again and again thoughts of Abhi started disturbing her.
She was pissed off. She didn't want to feel anything for anyone. She had been cheated badly by the guy whom she loved a lot. She tried to brush away his thoughts but she couldn't. She just wanted this feelings to go away so she thought of facing it. She thought that all these feelings would go away once she gets close to him. She called up Abhi and he was surprised. She told him that she wants to meet him. He immediately agreed and she sent him her address. Abhi came as soon as possible wearing blue jeans and a white full sleeved t shirt. He was a bit nervous and was practicing how to talk with her standing outside her house. Mukti thought what was taking him so long and she saw through the window that his car was parked. She went downstairs and opened the door and saw him talking with nobody. He said," Hi Mukti. What's up? No. No. Okay. So hi Mukti. How are you." Mukti started laughing looking at him and he turned to see her and was embarrassed. But at the same time he saw her laughing whole heartedly and he also smiled looking at her. And then his eyes fell on her dress which was so not like Mukti. She looked very pretty though he thought.
Mukti: You are too funny.
Abhi: I just like to make people smile.
Mukti: Come inside.
They both sat in the living room and started talking. Abhi was cracking silly jokes to which Mukti laughed and chuckled a lot. She was so happy after a long time. Mukti forgot all her worries and problems and was enjoying her present moment.
After some time, it was time for Abhi to go home so he stood up and started walkin towards the door saying good bye to her. But she stoppef him and suddenly pulled him into a hug. He was taken aback but then he also hugged her back and caressed her hair gently. Mukti forgot all her worries and doubts which she was having untill now. After some time they broke the hug and Abhi cupped her face and kissed her forehead. Mukti was loving this. This feeling she had never felt, not even for Harshad. She thought no other guy hugged her so lovingly or kissed her forehead. They just wanted her body and nothing else. But Abhi was different and she could feel it. Within no time she moved towards his lips and touched her lips with his and they kissed. Their kiss was very soft yet passionate and full of love. They broke the kiss after a few minutes and Mukti was smiling and Abhi was just looking at her lovingly.
Mukti: I.. I don't know what happened or what is happening. I am sure that I have never felt anything like this for someone else. But.
Abhi: But you need time. I can understand. I don't know what had happened and I won't even ask. Take your time and only do what your heart says.
Mukti smiled and he left giving a soft peck on her forehead. It was evening time now and all the couples spent their time together. Cabir and Navya were at his home for sometime and She met Cabir's mom too who loved her. After that they went outside to roam accross the city.
At last they went to the beach and sat their holding each other's hand. Meanwhile, MaNan were at the Nariman point and were sitting their in each other's arms. They were enjoying the cool breeze anf the sound of the waves and each other's company. Manik kissed her hair while caressing her hand and Nandini kept her head on his shoulder. It was late in the evening so she thought of going home and then she remembered about the dinner and texted everyone about it. Everyone happily agreed and then after some time, Manik dropped Nandini at her place and went back to his house to get his bags. Nandini helped Chachi and then Navya also joined them. At 8 pm, Manik arrived at Nandini's house and chachi treated her like her son in law and he also left no chance to impress her and Chacha. Soon everyone arrived at her place and had Chachi's special food. It was not a disaster at she had not tried anything new this time. After dinner it was time to leave so Nandini hugged her Chacha Chachi and Rishab and went out of the house carrying her bag. But Rishab came running towards her and hugged her again. Nandini caressed his back and everyone smiled at them. After breaking the hug,
Nandini: Rishab I will come to meet you soon. You are a good boy na. So please no crying.
Rishab nodded sadly and then seeing him sad Manik hugged him and then Cabir also hugged him.
Manik: you are my champ Rishab. Don't be sad. I promise that I will bring your sister to meet you very soon.
Rishab finally smiled and hi fived Manik and then everyone finally left for the station. They reached the station and the teachers took the attendence and soon everyone was seated on their seats. It was a night journey so everyone had their own bed. All the girls were in the same compartment while all the boys were in the same compartment. Around 11 o'clock everyone fell asleep except MaNan. Manik was lying on that uncomfortable bed and was again and again changing his positions and at the same time, Nandini was also doing the same. Suddenly, her phone beeped with the message of Manik.
Manik: Are you awake?
Nandini: Yes. Are you okay?
Manik: No. I can't sleep on this uncomfortable bed.
Nandini: Aww.. my baby.
Manik: Don't tease me baby. I wish I could sleep in your arms.
Nandini: I wish the same.
Without wasting a single second, Manik got up from his bed and without making any noise went towards Nandini. Nandini was shocked to see him and told him to go but he didn't listen and started pleading her. Seeing his cute puppy face, Nandini finally agreed and sat taking the support of the pillow and signalled Manik to lie down on her lap and he did the same. Nandini was ruffling his hair and he was caressing and kissing her hand.
Manik: You know what Nandini, You are my life. Without you I am nothing. You are the reason for my existence.
Nandini: Same here Manik. I can't imagine my life without you.
Manik: Angel, you have changed a monster into a human being.
Nandini: You were never a monster. You were just masked behind a face of monster. Tumhara yeh jo dil hai wo bohot saaf hai with full of love in it. And that too true love.
Manik kissed her hand: It is possible because of you that I am able to show my true self. Mai jab tumhare sath hota hu na tab maine simply Manik bsn jata hu. You have brought me out of darkness. Tum mere sath hoti ho tab mujhe andhere darr nahi lagta. Cause you are there to shine for me.
Nandini: And I will never let you go in that darkness again. And I promise to shine for you always.
Manik said while looking into her eyes: I love you.
Nandini: I love you More.
They talked for a while and then Nandini bent down and they kissed softly. Nandini said against his lips," Good night." Manik pecked on her lips and said," Good night baby." They both slept in the same position peacefully.
