I think Dhruv will probably end up overhearing or seeing Manik in a moment of vulnerability with Nandu or someone else maybe and realize how much pain he's given him.

Or he will realize that for all these things he's doing to prove his "worth", he is feeling hollow cuz he doesn't have his buddy to share it with...kuch bhi ho sakta hai...
