This was the part that was played in the PRECAP.. and this is what it means.. and i think it is apt ..

The sheet is thin, worn.. (the meaning here is that it's a little transparent, as it is wet with tears.) My eyes are moist, The memories are delicate..

This was the first boy that helped her. he gave her the tissue to wipe her tears, he helped her climb the bush and sneak into college, he was her first real friend...
This is the same innocent guy she admired, but now instead of wiping tears, he's creating them. Instead of comforting her, he's giving her more pain by throwing spiteful words at Manik.

She should be the one to break him out of his bubble. Her rejection gave him a good good reality check, and similarly her giving her piece of mind should create somesort of impact on Dhruv.

Not to mention all that sacrifice shit that happened.. and how hurt she was because of that.. Someone needs to rub that in dhrub sir's face.
