" Nandu. ... I think I am missing something " Manik suddenly said.
I thought he was again talking to be naughty with me. So I blushed but replied " Maaanik... you one track mind"
He stopped and again said " no no no Nandu. Look I am serious yaar. .. don't you think that we are missing something very important. ? "
His words made me think too. But what were we missing. ?.?
"Ohhh SHIT !!!!!!! CABIR " we exclaimed in unison.
'Love ke side effects'... you started forgetting your best friend.We forgot to pick up CABIR. Yeah we were too lost in our newly born loving feelings that we forgot the most important part of our lives.
"Shittt I forgot to pick up him. " Manik frustratingly said ruffling his neatly gelled hairs.
Guilt was fully shown on his eyes. Even I was feeling very guilty. " yaah... how could we .? " I said "chal. .. fast. "
"Hmm .. shit man. .. shit... CABIR " he said and we were about to turn when one very familiar voice welcomed us.
"Here I am"
We turned back to find Cabir was coming playing with his car keys.
"Buddy " Manik promptly resisted himself and ran to hugged him. I knew he was surely cursing his absent mind.
"Ohhhoo... so much of love. .. but saale itnahi hai toh why didn't you guys came to pick me. Vul gaya sab kuch ..yaad nehi aub kuch ? "Cabir said hugging him back and then after breaking it he turned towards me who was then standing beside him. "Cabir. ... sorry extremely sorry... don't know how we forgot. ? It's such a disgusting us. Please yaar pardon na... Please Cabir. "
Said I and my eyes became moist. Guilts were then started pouring in the shape of tear droplets.
"Ohhhoo meri aasun ki dukan. . Don't you think that now a days you are crying too much. . Want to get us flooded. ? " Cabir said pulling me for a hug.
"Sorry buddy. It's my fault. I should remembered but did not know where I was lost and then. .. but how do you know that we already reached. ?. " manik asked
"Ohhh actually when I sensed the delay toh I simply watched the time and it was already 8:30. Toh I thought Nandu the ms. Panctual won't allow you to pick her that late. " he said and I slapped his shoulder. And he again said
" woo... then I went to her house. It was lock. Toh I calculated the scenes. And directly came here. "
"Look yaar. .. We are really sorry. " Manik said again.
"Arreee it's okay. Aur kitna sorry bolega. It doesn't suits Manik Malhotra. " Cabir said and pulled us for a group hug.
And then said " love you guys "
Manik and me shared a glance with this 'love' word.
Breaking the hug we walked towards his house entrance while Cabir murmured " wase itne khoya khoya chand rahoge toh yaad kaise rahega koi. ? "
"What. ?.? " we shouted in unison.
"Now again what. ? Kuch v nehi. " he smirked.
"Cabir!!! You and your one lines. ..." I sighed and we walked in his house. The party was a classy business party.
As we entered we were waved by our school friends Mukti Abhi Dhruv who were already present in the party. Navya was not coming I knew that. We walked to them.
Manik- "Hii guys"
Mukti - " yaar Manik. . It's your house party and you were only coming late. ? "
Manik - "ohhh went to pick Nandini. "
" Nandini you are looking beautiful. " dhruv praised me.
"Thank you dhruv. You are also looking like a gentleman. " I replied with a courtesy smile.
Manik became angry as dhruv praised me.
"Manik come here. " manik's dad called him to meet some people. so unwillingly he went.
"Cabir are you upset on us " I asked.
"Pagal. . It's totally ok. Itna worked up maat Ho. " he replied with a side hug.
"Heyyy guys. " aliya came.
"Heyy aliya. . Why are you late. ?" Mukti asked.
"Ohhh actually I came with my dad as he is invited here. " Aliya replied.
"By the way where is Manik. ? " She asked
Me and Cabir both were feeling irritated with her.
After some time
We were chatting with each other. Only ignoring the presence of aliya. As I started hating her to the core.
Manik was still not came. I was feeling restless. I was missing his presence badly.
"Hello people. Hope you are enjoying. . " Niyonika came and asked.
As a reply we all smiled.
"Ohhh darling. . You are looking very pretty. " she said looking at me.
"Thanks aunty. " I replied and said " you are too looking gorgeous like always. "
"Ohhh shut up... " she blushed. aliya was fuming in anger as Niyonika was praising me.
"Guys enjoy the party. Waiter. . Give them some soft drinks. " Niyonika ordered the servant and excused herself.
"Yaar she is so sexy " Abhi said praising Niyonika. Mukti hit him " I mean sexy mom. " he corrected. And they both walked to the corner little away from us.
" Yeh Manik kaha rah gaya. ? " Cabir said looking around the party.
" Ruk I will check. " and he left. And dhruv joined him.
" so Nandini... how are you. ? "Aliya asked. But anger is clearly shown in her eyes.
" obviously fine Aliya. I am happy after all its my day. And no one can snatch it away from me which I deserve. "
I replied with strong determination.
Aliya's anger level started increasing.. but that time I was sure not to behave like an idiot social worker.
She had given me lots of pains..accusations... just because of her I started hurting the most precious one of my life. I almost lost him. And it was the time to pay her back what she deserved.
"By the way Nandini.. I thought you must be keeping distance from Manik but you..." her words were left incomplete.
"Heyy!!! " Manik came from behind and hugged me on back without noticing Aliya.
It was enough to make her more jealous.
"Maanik !!! " she literally shouted.
Manik left me hearing her. And stood beside me.
Then composing herself she said " hii Manik. You are looking very handsome today. " and she came forward to hug him.
"Aliya..." Manik stepped back to avoid her and said " thanks. You are also looking beautiful. "
Aliya became super happy as Manik praised him. And I became upset. No actually it's not upset but jealous.
Yes the amount of her happiness was increasing so the amount of my jealousy.
" But not more than Nandini. " Manik again said.
This time the effect was reverse. My face started glowing and Aliya started fuming again.
"Maanik baby..." before Aliya could complete her ' baby nama '
Manik said " excuse us " and he dragged me with him to the poolside.
pool side
"Maanik... leave my hand. Sab kya sochenge? Leave na.. " said I.
"Listen.. It's not the first time I am holding your hand . Okey... " he said but not let my hand off him.
"Yeah but pahele it was different and now we are. ... " I paused bit my lower lip realizing what I just said .
"And now ...We ...are. ... what Nandu. ? " Manik left my hand and grabbed my waist with one hand and his other hand was caressing my face.
I was loosing my control and gradually drowning into his irresistible charm.
"We are... tell na what. ? " He asked in his husky voice.
"We are..." I was trying to say but couldn't.
"We are... " Manik said leaning closer my neck.
"We. ..." I stopped as I felt his warmth breadth on my neck and he kissed. Kissed my right side of neck. I knew it was the mole where he kissed.
"Maanik.." my desires were again starting burning. My naughty hormones started betraying me.
"Hmm" ed he and slightly touched my jaw bone.
"Tell na who are we now. ? " he whispered in my ear playing with my earlobe.
It was enough to ignite my desires.
"We... We... Are.." again took an attempt to complete my words. But was shut by a pair of rose petals which were then caressing my lips sharing the lip gloss I had applied.
Unknowingly my hands made their ways to encircle his neck. my fingers were digging in his hairs.
Manik was kissing me slow but passionately And I replied with same intensity. Our lips were perfecty synchronized. Our lips were trying to concur by teasing loving inhaling each other. Like it was the need of urgency.
After a passionate toung fight We had to part ourselves away due to lack of oxygen. Though We were gasping for air. But our desires in the form of lips were not ready to take apart. Then Manik giving a few kisses on my lips and cheeks finally let them took rest.
I couldn't looked at his eyes. Shyness was totally captured me. He then slightly tilted my chin with his finger to face him.
"Nandini do you know you are best thing happened in my life. I feel complete with you. You learned me to love. You taught me how to fight with darkness . You are the reason I am living for. Nandini please don't leave me. Don't leave me ever. I dont know kabse I started loving you.. loving you like mad. I need you because I love you Nandu. " he said and white pearls were started flowing from his dark intense eyes on the form of tears.
"Maanik... shhh" I cupped his face and stood on my tip toe and he bend down slightly to manage our heights then I kissed his eyes and said "I will never ever leave you Manik. I will be there with you holding ur hand forever. I too feel complete with your presence. I am in love with you My choco Monster... "
Listening these he pulled me to him for a hug and I stopped colliding with his chest. It was a rib cage breaking hug as he wanted to pull me inside him for ever. And I hugged him back as an assurance to be there with him forever.
I was too happy and I kissed on his heart.
"Cough cough "
We suddenly heard some noise behind us and freed ourselves.
"So much of love haan... aaj toh tum dono ko kuch jyada hi pyar aaraha hai. Kuch kash baat hai kya. ? " cabir came and asked.
Straightening myself I said " pyar toh humesha se tha par samajh me aub aaya. " and I winked at Manik who was terribly happy listening this. and the over glow of his striking face was the witness of his happiness.
"Wohhoo... the sayer mugambi ." He sarcastically said.

Dude something fire is again happening with this two. And that toh I am too sure.
But don't worry amigos take your time and then let me know. And if the thing I want to hear would be the same toh I will be the happiest.

"Aub tu kaha kho gaya. ? " Manik asked him wrapping his hand around his shoulder.
Cabir- "Kahi nehi. . Ohh bus.. every one is searching for you two. By the way the party is damm boring haan. "
Manik- "look I told you before. But you two wanted to come here. "
Cabir- "toh kya. .. dragon lady ko refuse karta to be get burned. ? "
I hit cabir's stomach as he made fun of niyonika
"Don't call her like this. She is not that bad. "
Manik- 'Ohhh hello.. Tume kya hua hai. ? Don't you think aaj kal you are too much fond of her. Or rather she is being fond of you. What ever. ."
"Manik she is not bad yaar. It's just that she doesn't know how to show love. She is your mom. And she cares for you. You ...I think don't know but she very often called me to inquire about your well being. She is a business lady. She has to take responsibilities of this company also. So plz try to understand her point of view too. And stop hating her. And she..."
"STOP.." cabir and Manik shouted in unison placing their hands covering their ears.
"Yaar kitna bolegi rajdhani exp. ? " cabir made fun.
"Hhmm I understood. Now stop the crap. you are hurting my ears. " Manik said making faces.
And I made a sad pout. "U two na. ... Aiyyapaa disgusting. "
"Here comes Aaiyaappa again ." Manik said and they both started laughing.
"You monster. .. and this joker. ." I aimed to hit them and they started running and I chased them. We were exploring our friendship through out the poolside.
Love is friendship. Friendship is the base of true love. If your friend ship is true and pure then your relationship will be true and loyal. And it's the universal truth that we can find our real match in our best friend only..
