I am not a biased fan, I'm just an ardent viewer of the show KY2 and a MaNan fan.
I did not have problem with a merger till it did not affect my viewing! I understand business and their need to promote their new show. I had no hard feelings for that show. I don't watch that show and it's not because I thought the show is bad but because it's my choice. And honestly from whatever bits I have seen of the show before today while waiting for the telecast of my favourite show, I liked it. It was good in its own way. But, after whatever I saw today I have to say that they probably chose the most boring episode of WH for promotion. Sorry to say that the show today looked worse than the 'Fanaah' whose fate we all know.
So that was about WH.
Now to my viewing that got hampered.
I honestly don't care what they show about Fab5's past in WH. Not my concern. I'd appreciate if they had shown it in KY2. But whatever was shown of Fab5 today(which was basically NIL) I could ignore as just another blooper KY2 is pretty famous for. But what actually disturbed me was this wasn't a Merger. The makers tried to force down our throats something we did not want! How is that going to help WH?
You go to a cake shop, ask for a chocolate cake and you are sold a strawberry cake instead, despite the availability of a good chocolate cake that you'd probably love. Is that how you do business?
Mind you, this is not a merger. It's called cheating! It was all about WH! A merger could help both the shows with new viewers but this one was repelling! KY2 time slot filled with WH and no sign of the actual KY2/MaNan is called promotion?
Yes, it wouldn't have been possible for Nandini to physically accompany Manik to Dehradun, but if the makers wanted, we could have easily got our Nandu and MaNan and their touch in any form. Be it phone, Manik's flashbacks or daydreaming about Nandu. Heck they could've even shown Nandu back in Mumbai doing the same. Even a NavNi/SPACE scene from the current day would do. But no.. the merger had no connection with KY2/MaNan's current track whatsoever!
And over that we will be deprived of our KY2 for 2 whole days. Tell me which businessman in his right mind would make such a move? This mess has left a bad bad taste in my mouth that I'm not sorry to say that I thoroughly dislike WH and I'm not going to even Try that show EVER!
