Hmmm I dunno .. for me personally, all MaNan issues have always been a product of their personality clashes and differing ideologies about life n love.. not the big, fancy words like 'trust' n 'betrayal' that the writers like to throw around for angst value😆
Whether it the was the Dhruv conflict or this current mess, the principle point is they are still in it 'together' and FOR each other.. that kind of trope is only workable if the regard and the respect for a person remains intact regardless of the circumstance and the actions of that person.. now while that basic premise still exists, can we truly call it a love that has lost its way?
He says that she didn't have faith in him but the key fact here is, he STILL does and always will.. He believed her version of events over Nyo's even at his angriest, least rational self, he believes that she cares and wants to make him smile, he even believes that she is willing to fight him for them which is why he is going through all this effort of providing her with an adequate challenge (okay that last was sarcastic but still applicable😉)
When the Dhruvwala drama happened she was extremely disappointed in him and didn't know what to believe but the fact remained that she STILL cared and he latched onto that to turn the situation around.. now she is doing the same.. using his inability to let go to prove to him that even the idea of them not being 'together' hamesha is impossible.. for BOTH of them... my point is, their faith/trust/hope in each other is perfectly fine, it is their own flaws/insecurities that cloud their judgment..
Therefore the current track the way I see it, is less about IHUs, faith tests and allegedly broken trust and more about their own individual fears and mindblocks..
The problem with Nandu is she most often too logical and literal.. and that is the reason for her 'facevalue' fault. she truly believes that the other person has put as much thought and conviction into their own words as she herself always does, so what is there to disbelieve/question? If they are saying it, then they MUST mean it, hai na.. why say it otherwise? That's adorably naive Nandu..
Then there is the desire to control and compartmentalize everything.. no wonder his monster makes her uneasy.. that aspect of him is too unpredictable, too driven by impulse and it upsets her calm, rational worldview which is why she feels the need to 'tame' it (the self destructive tendencies apart of course).. but by the end of this journey to the fusion concert she will discover that the 'monster' loves her as much as the man and that sometimes she needs to stop being so rational and responsible and let impulse carry her where it will.. taking that freefall was only the first step.. actually living up to the reality of it is a whole other ballgame..
For Manik words are cheap because he has only ever witnessed them being twisted and used as tools of manipulation.. in his world NO ONE ever says what they mean and means what they say (including himself and his contrived IHUs/I will make you suffers).. therefore he puts all his stock in action alone..
His greatest fear is her walking away.. so no matter how many times she reassures him otherwise and no matter what his own heart/mind tells him theoretically until he actually SEES for himself that he can do his worst, be at his ugliest and lowest and she will stand with him free of judgment and expectation he will not be able to find his peace.. hence this silly making her jump through hoops for him.. he does not hate her and he does not doubt her, he doesn't even really want to punish her or be difficult (yeah okay that's stretching it but hey, he's enjoys it and so do we😛), he just needs to be sure that he has finally found the one person who does indeed mean what they say and always will, hamesha.. by the end of this track he will also discover just how 'fated' they are so that's a nice build up for final confession (and hopefully REAL kiss)😳
(That being said is this track unnecessarily prolonged n contrived.. well duh of course, but then isn't every track or perceived MU.. this is a fiction show afterall not a book so things can never be as simple as one meaningful conversation that resolves all.. but luckily, this track is not completely irrational or unwatchable so I'll take it😃.. Also, these words are for GENIE cuz she's earned it☺️)
DhruLya: No patience.. Don't care🤔
Now for the part I really want to rant about.. effing Navya Naveli!! Just ughhh🤢🤢
I'm beyond pissed off.. how DARE they touch upon such a sensitive subject and then make a mockery of it? They've already trivialized terminal illness on this show but I let it go because FF n what I don't watch can't bug me but now THIS!!! Disgusting.. how can they endorse such an immature thought process.. turn into comic relief instead of the serious treatment it deserves.. grrr.. my blood boils every time I think of it.. whatever grace period this character had earned by being a decent friend to Nandu when she needed it most is now DONE.. so not gonna bother watching anymore😡😡😡
P.S: The most unintentionally hilarious moment for me was in the precap when she faints.. even as she's falling she's smiling cuz she knows Manik is gonna catch her, then she opens her eyes, realizes it's NOT Manik but actually Pandit and that total W*F expression on her face.. cho cute😆
@BI: So just like an ideal Nandu I have boarded the 'hope' train for now.. so no grumbling for bit.. just until I remember my Friday the 13th alter ego of course and come running to you for snark relief😈
@Rida: No Youuu
@Saamya: Helloz.. it's been a while🤗
@Suha: I would sacrifice every limelight for you.. but I hear you have become a traitor who likes frog couple now.. why joo do this?🥺
@CC: As much as I love diabolical, scheming opportunistic women (Nyo <3<3) I'm genuinely curious to know what I've done to give you the impression I'm part of their elite ranks😈
