I really don't understand why people are comparing Manik's love and Nandini's love.

In most of the shows that I have watched, if not all, they never show how much the FL loves the ML. Here, we are at least getting to see that. We are getting such amazing scenes and all we do is sit and compare, "No, he loves her more!" "No! She loves him more!"

To be very honest, KY2 is a breath of fresh air for me and I Love how they are showing their Love story. The Love is equal from both the sides. If he is hurting her, she is tolerating it. If he is challenging her, she is fighting for them. If she is walking away, he is trying to pacify her and etc...

Apart from that weird character that i am not going to mention and tarnish this beauty. I liked it.

It's about them, they are at conflicts with their morals, ideologieis and thats the difference . it's their love for each other that is going to prevail and give them a reason to find the balance .

They had the moment of connect last night which is perhaps why he although carries the same mask but we know perhaps he is being her crusader.

She while cannot understand why he will negate their moment and again go down the path , she cannot help but remind him that his anger must not use his music. She is trying to protect his innocence.

Yes the guitar cutting was juvenile so was her when she took his cord right before his performance infront of Khuranna . She will do anything to protect him even if it's from his own anger and he will take to that anger just so he can mask his need to protect her.

He poured his feelings through that song , telling her how he stands confused , near yet so far, berating their differences while she turned back to him and tried hiding the tears , taking in his pain on her.

I cannot believe we will discuss them being worthy of each other or now.

He is all rage and she is his moral compass which will keep telling him when he is wrong . it's not trust but love from her to protect his innocence and his to protect her honour.

I know right! It ASTOUNDS me that THAT could STILL be in question😕😕😆...

I didn't find anything OOC about Nandu's reactions...why shouldn't she still think that he will put antics to torture her? Did he say otherwise last night? No he didn't...he admitted it hurts him...he never said he'll stop doing it for that reason...Manik logic😆...and why shouldn't Nandu take him for his word? She knows he cares about her but she also knows that he doesn't always think in terms of reason when he's being self-destructive and masochistic...

Nandu has always had a one-track mind...Save Manik from himself...and more often than not, she is right about needing to save him from his self-destructive tendencies.

The last scene was love for how it became all about the PAIN that is so RAW for both of them right now...they hide it behind the childish squabbles but essentially they are both suffering it together...Nandu was hit hard by the pain in his eyes and voice as he directly sang to her...and the fact that she couldn't contain the tears flowing from her eyes...you just feel so sad for both of them.

Much needed post. Yes that last scene, it brought all the feels and how Manik opened his eyes and panicked that Nandini, his love wasn't there. And then searched around for her.

Both of them are flawed, and both will rise together in their love, to understand eachother more, and grow with eachother. 😳

Thanks, Chetu...it's rare that a scene instantly moves me to make a post...today was a rare such case...ironically on a day when most ppl seem to have written off the epi😕😆

Honestly Adhi, they really were just PRECIOUS in the last scene...really emotional song sequence...Manik's torment and when he sings to her like that...and you can see how moved she is too...the helplessness she feels as she sees him in that state, she cries for both of them.

@bold: If only ppl could understand that instead of making this a COMPETITION about who loves who more🤔😆

P.S. Niti did GOOD in the last scene...imagine if Parth's lipsync alone was going on without a Nandu giving the apt expressions in response? Would the scene still work? No it wouldn't...they work TOGETHER...how do ppl not get that? ...and she was awesome in the precap too...

If love is about keeping count, we would have no love stories at all😆, but people see what they want to see. People need to understand MaNan are who they are because both Parth and Niti deliver, keeping aside all personal bias and prejudices. By belittling the other, you are not praising one, infact you are taking away from the work they do TOGETHER.

That was the best part of the episode!!

I think the choice of song was good:):)

The only thing that confused me was at certain parts, Nandini looked angry😕

You mean during the song or in the rest of the epi? Song mein I didn't feel she looked angry...she looked pained and hurt and then toh she started crying only...which Niti always does beautifully😆

Rest of the epi, yeah Nandu looked quite irritated with Manik...yeh toh in dono ka roz ka hai😆

OMG! YES! YESS! YESSS!!! I was waiting for you to watch the episode so that I could fangirl over the sequence. NO one liked the sequence but I loved it. They were fighting/bickering around the whole time but then finally, the minute he starts singing, he sings for her. He pours out his feelings, his pain to her and she gets up and turns away because she can't take it.

AND YES MY FAVORITE MOMENT when he opens his eyes and doesn't see her in front of his eyes and how restlessly he looks around and then sees her on the side and his eyes stop at her. Both are suffering. He doesn't even bother hiding his pain. He pours it all out to her and his expressions. I DIE.

Babies are such precious gems. I LOVE THEM. I can't deal with their pain. It hurts so much.

Parth's lipsync is always on point and the only moment I liked Niti's expressions were when she turns away to hide her tears. She did SO WELL THERE.

I also loved the last scene after pandit leaves. The intense stare..I DIG.

I love the part, where she is so emotionally overwhelmed that she gets up and his eyes are closed and then when his eyes open, there is this frantic searching for her, it was just so beautiful
And then again in the end, after TK leaves, such a soft expression on his face as he looks at her😳

Lovely points, Sara! Exactly...how many shows even bother with showing a FL's love as clearly as the ML's? It is usually only the ML glorified to garner sympathies but Niti does such a lovely job of Nandu...I don't find Nandu lacking in terms of characterization...a more complex characterization doesn't automatically make it a better one...and this shouldn't even be about competition cuz if Nandu wasn't Nandu and Manik wasn't Manik, there would be no MaNan...it is precisely because they are who they are that we have such a lovely story.

They match each other at every step, in every form...to question their love for each other is such a redundant point...it is important to understand that different approaches to love don't lessen the intensity of one character of the other.
