According to Manik it is betrayal but nandu thinks it is her mistake.
Nandu did accept to herself and to Manik, that it was mistake and also asked him to apologize and also asked Ayyappa for his forgiveness for her mistake.
On the surface, this admission seems humble and contrite. What more could you want?
But according to Manik:
Nandu refer to this kind of behavior as a mistake rather than a betrayal, she is either consciously or unconsciously evading the trust on me. Why? Because of the fundamental difference between the two. Probably like all Nandu too assumes they are synonymous. They are not.
The term "mistake" implies an error in judgment"something done unintentionally. Let's recall some manan incidents which i see as mistake from Nandu side:
-she turned an alien and bit him - she poured water on his face when he was just sleeping in the car (soha track time). she hit him twice, the first time he never liked her, but even then he did not take any revenge on her, second time, he was deeply in love with her.
why these are all just mistakes and not termed betrayal, because it is just situational and wrong judgement. These could all be legitimate mistakes. They happen because we get distracted or careless. But a betrayal is more than a mistake. It is a deliberate choice to do something you know is wrong. Unlike a mistake, we choose to betrayal. Therefore, now Nandu must accept responsibility for the problem, acknowledge the guilt as betrayal and not as a mistake"and the consequences that might follow towards the responsibility. This is how a relationship grows.
But love will finally triumph over everything else.
This is an intense story, maybe even clichd. It is not a story of perfect people, perfection does not exist. So it is close to reality in many ways. Manik and Nandini are not perfect but they are perfect for each other.
