I know some fans feel disheartened about the upcoming track but I honestly think that we are in for a treat...
Here are a few possibilities of what good things could arise on the show with this track:
1) MaNan playing role reversal, where it becomes Nandini's turn to fight for Manik/win his trust back.
2) They both have defined love as 'trust', Manik proved to Nandini that he is infact trustworthy after the whole Dhruv fiasco so I'm hoping this track will revive or even further Manik's trust in Nandini so they do have that strong foundation in their relationship.
3) Navya and Cabir are MaNan shippers who won't let MaNan's love sink.
4) The role of the Pandit, according to the articles the Pandit will fall for Nandini and we could be seeing a jealous Manik ahead. Especially since the Pandit in terms of characteristics is more well suited for Nandini, this could aggravate Manik into trying to shield her from the Pandit indirectly.
5) I know everyone was expecting a love confession on valentines day but I still didn't feel like they were ready to confess their love to each other. They still needed to learn a lot about each other. Hopefully, as Neyonika is the trigger for this problem, Nandini gets to learn about Manik's past and how it formed him into a 'Monster'. Once she understands how Neyonika is like, this can assist her into playing Neyonika out of her own game.
6) It's become quite a custom in ky2 where Nandini's clothing rips/she is about to have a fall and of course Manik will be there to be her saviour even if he is reluctant in doing so.
7) Manik can't just switch off his feelings overnight, there will be tender moments between them.
8) Manik still does not know the real significant behind Nandini's fireflies so maybe in the heat of the moment Nandini will confess the truth about them and Manik will come to realise that she does genuinely love him.
