I will reiterate, it is a pleasure to read your words 👍🏼 Nothing to add, as you have described Nandini's realization in such a beautiful way.

Your post takes me back in time when Nandini and Cabir talked about love (right after "never have I ever" game), Cabir said "never have I ever hurt in love" to which Nandini replied "if it doesn't hurt it's not love"... I wonder if it's love, should it even hurt, cause if it hurts, then it's something else, fear. attachment, idolatry, addiction, possessiveness...

I didn't think she needed Khurana to tell her that she loves him, I feel she knew this all along...

She was fearful of wording it because of all the hurt she felt when she released her fireflies the last time. Khuranna didn't ask the question , he mentioned it as a statement- You love Manik and Nandini just affirmed it. She was abruptly pulled by the truth and she had to acknowledge it .

Exactly my point, her fear held her back from accepting her true feelings for Manik, love! And yet again she will go down the same path, fear! She will choose fear over love... (lol if she doesn't then story won't go on 😆)

But the thing is this show trolls sacrifice , Manik tried, he couldn't stay a night away from her. They are written in a way that they cannot be separated , the more they try to move away , the greater is the pull towards each other. Also closes the loop, she always wondered how easily he could make that deicison then , now she will truly understand the dilemma by stepping in his shoes.

@Bold - Every emotion hurts and makes you happy. Love is bundle of emotions , it's not just one particular emotion or feeling , it has happiness, peace,trust and so on. Change one of those vaiables and the end product will shift from happiness to sadness. This is why love is always evolving , changing.

True love or love in general should hurt and it will because that is life. The authenticity goes away when there is indifference, stagnation and we don't feel anything , that is when it's not love.
