Nope Alya was insecure for legit reasons but she didn't trust Manik that was goading him. She couldn't trust him enough hence she send goons to harm Nandini, which was unacceptable to him or anyone else. Alya took her insecurity, jealousy out on a 3rd person rather than communicating with Manik about it. Infact before the store room incident Manik asked her if she wants to talk about it , but she chose to keep silent. Whereas in Nandini is not insecure that Manik will do something or look at Soha , she is worried because she doesn't trust Soha especially when she has seen her weird behaviour . She is communicating with Manik letting him know what her views about it and her focus is not on Soha the 3rd person. She trusts him which is enough for Manik.

Possessiveness really sucks in real life...It looks cute only in the beginning wen u feel the need to have a right on your partner...coz its all new and you want some form of committment from each other...But when some time has passed, you become more secure in relationship and there shud be no scope for insecurity or possesiveness... when the other person tries to control your life, you feel like chained.. it becomes so difficult to breathe...i lost so many opportunities in my life bcoz of one person and his possesiveness...i lost all my frns, my career and so much more!

Its very important to give full freedom to each other in real life!

Hope I am able to convey the difference, having said that everyone is a hypocrite , it's a very basic human trait.

Exactly genie, I said that too, Aliya's insecurity got legit reasons...but the she handled it was just abominable.

And Nandini doesn't need to get insecure in any way.. Manik worships the ground she walks upon and she knows it too. And I think Nandini trusts Manik implicitly though she said she doesn't. 😉

I understand the difference, but I was pointing out Manik's double standard. But you already said being hypocrite is a basic human trait. 😆😆
