Unexpected Heroes!!

Who would have thought that the very same hardened guys who took great sadistic pleasure in targeting and tormenting two innocent and naive girls, will one fine day stand up for them in front of any and everyone??

Beautifully written and explained..How much the right relationships shaped Manik and Cabir is an amazing thing to see.

For Manik, the right person was one of those he bullied, and for Cabir the person that made him be truthful is the first relationship where he could be honest- Ragav... and to an extent his friendship with the Fab 5 after the revelation as well.

There are a lot of posts about how much Manik is changing around Nandhu, becoming 'just Manik... good' like he said she made him want to be and it's all because of the support, care , understating and light she brings into his life.

For Cabir, being free from his secret is enough for him to be free and fair with others and having that strong friendship- even being a part of the MANAN secret and seeing how much his friend is falling is also a part of it I think. It allows him to be more honest and free.

I thought that they might do the same with Harshad, doesn't look like that's happening- and definitely not happening with Soha. But they aren't our heroes... only villans/MANAN cupids! 😉 But for sure the CVs have some good things planned, lets just wait and see.

I do hope that at some point Manik and the rest of Fab 5 sincerely apologize to Nandhu, Navya and even Shahid for their treatment of them in the past and we get a real discussion about their past actions and why it happened and why it should not and will not happen anymore.

Thank you for a great response!! They are totally unsuitable for the role of heroes...yet today we cannot deny that they lent a helping hand, where it was least expected.

The very same Cabir who never lost any opportunity of making fun of his black and white Madhubala, will be the guy to stand up for her honor and dignity!! And the one who masterminded all their plans of torture, the one and only Manik Malhotra, will be standing there like a rock, like a solid wall between her and the world, threatening anyone who dares to hurt the girl!!

The inhuman souls at the beginning of the show, will be the most humane ones after a few months, understanding her helpless plight, her pain and her shame...who guessed?? The cynics, the war battered, the heartless will be the ones to fight for this girl...now that's life!!

With all their outward shells, their strong facades and their fraudulent keep away from us attitude...their, we bite the hand that touches us stance...here is someone that knows pain. Here are people that understand vulnerability and how the world feeds on a person's weakness. Having been on the receiving end of raw injustice and being denied the normal pleasure sof family life that we take for granted, they brought themselves up by themselves, learning to stand all firm and straight, leaning on other's shoulders...here are a group of people that can recognize and deal with the darkest side of human emotions. They know what a dark and harsh place this world is. They have been there and have done that!! They have been kicked and abused and bashed and so they empathize with agony, when they see it!!

They know that its always survival of the fittest, and the strong feed on the weak. Here are people who understand that weakness cannot be afforded, its too heavy a price to pay!!

And as unlikely, as unexpected as they seem, but here are the heroes, the survivors, the fighters!! Till now they fought for themselves and now life and times are finally teaching them, forcing them to fight for others!!

They are mean and tough...and they know how to battle it out...it was about time they learnt that there are some out there who need them...as much as they needed each other once upon a time!! They don't want to be good, they thrive on being bad, not for them the applauds and rewards, but now they don't have a choice. Their badness can save some goodness!!These heroes can help...and looking forward to seeing how these most unsuited and undeserving selfish warriors learn to become redeeming saviors for others!!

Love the title of ur post. How eloquently u have described this facet of our tough n mean guys.

How these kids from broken homes learned the hard way, leaning on each other and coming out strong. Yes it is their coming of age saga and they are doing so with flying colors.

Now I want the CVs to give me a scene where Navya talks about this change in fab5 with Nandini and she appreciates them standing for her.

I think with this gesture, the days of dushmanavat are finally over...now there is a total uneasy acceptance on both the sides.

Its beautiful that when it came down to a girl's respect, dignity and value; they didn't back out from protecting her. They didn't back out from being her saviors.

It was not because of Nandani but it's because they are the real men. They might be mean and rough/tough but they still value the rights of woman.

Totally loved the fact that Cabir jumped to Navya's rescue not because of Nandini but he did so coz he felt for her, he stood for her dignity, her honor, her respect and similarly Manik too was ready to battle for Navya, Nandini did not have to ask him for help or support...it was what he wanted to do for the helpless girl himself. Both the guys were not asked to rescue, yet they stood by Navya, protective, understanding, supportive. I was scared that Nadini was going to drag them in this mess, but thank you cvs for fulfilling my heart felt wish...the guys did exactly what they should have done!! And thats one thing i love but these guys...they cherish their girls..and are extremely protective about them...be it the first Shahid prank that started when he hit on Mukti...or the Harshad Mukti scenario or even lately when Abhi tried to get close to Mukti...the boys literally surrounded him like hunters...these guys know how to take care of their girls and now Nandini and Navya too are a part of this protective circle!!

Absolutely true..broken homes...broken trusts...yet they have learnt to survive and now are gradually learning to live!! They are carving life now for themselves, chalking out their paths, building their personalitites...truly a coming of age saga as you so perfectly word it!!

To me this still feels incomplete, a couple of thing still desired for satisfaction. Nandini's acceptance in Fab 5...she has done enough for them directly or indirectly and its high time they recognize and appreciate her for it and Navya's changing and a different kind of bonding with Fab 5 too...yes, she has already realized that all that glitters is not gold but its time for her to realize that black is not an absence of color...it can be a color too...😉!!

caption of 'youthful show, which portrays essence of love and friendship in life journey'.I never
thought they actually do justice with that line, but they did amazingly. I still wonder
sometimes, what if Nandu not entered into space, could manik behaved still with monster mask?
What if raghav not left cabir, he wasn't met with selfless nandini at that attack night, we
would have seen these heroes? Fortunately all these things happened,we get to see unexpected
heroes emerging behind and beyond beasts of old times. 😆
