This post is just stating my personal opinion!

I don't want to hurt or offend anyone in any way!

If you don't agree with me, please share your thoughts so that I can see another viewer's perspective.

All I ask is that you be polite while doing so.

Well, I'm still relatively new to this forum... So hey everyone!

Happy new year/ new year episode to all!! 😃

I've seen pretty much every one of the 116 episodes of KY2 so far, and from what I can see, it is a very different show!

They highlight very controversial issues, such as ragging, substance abuse, parental neglect, mental illness, homosexuality and now teen pregnancy.

These are issues that people find very difficult to talk about, and through this show, youth are being given the opportunity to express their views!

For this, I applaud the courage of the cast, crew and especially the creatives!

Now, I know people hate that the character of Soha has turned out to be so predictable...

But personally, I think this is a good track.

Of course, this doesn't mean I like that Soha is coming between MaNan! 🤢

It's just that I found Manik's treatment of Soha unsavory...

Yes, getting to see jealous Nandini scenes was awesome, and super cute, and a wonderful catalyst for the reconciliation/partial confession that we saw.

However, what did Manik do to achieve this end?

Use a girl's feelings, pretend to feel the same things for her?

Since most of us (I think) are female, how many of you would be okay with a guy (or girl) doing that to you?

If it were me, I would be really mad... Like disgusted, hurt, angry and out-of-control!

And then to find out that your friend, the one you confided in, is the "other girl"?

I'd be a step away from losing my mind!

And I'm not a vengeful, or immature person (I think)!

Soha is.

So yes, this whole Soha getting mad & seeking revenge track is annoying as a MaNan fan...

But as a person, I find myself asking the question:

"Is this Manik's karmic punishment for playing with a girl's feelings?"

I don't know how Manik has played with her feelings , considering canonically they just met for couple of days.

Also shouldn't the girl be reading the signals too-

The guy clearly lied, which she heard and didn't want her in his house. But the lady still barges in uninvited.

He makes an excuse of conjunctivitis to cancel a date , while he is all fit and healthy the next morning.

He doesn't show up at the party.

The girl overhears Manik telling his friend that he is somewhere else - so clearly the medical reason was a bogus.

^^ Phew this should do, I don't understand how can Soha have feelings for him when they haven't exchanged any conversation. Should it not be wise to grow few grey cells and read the signals and back-off. Not everything in life needs to b spelled out. .

I think Soha is playing the typical stalker fan , who mentally has this relationship going with the Star Manik and is obsessed to a degree that logic and reality seems to evade her.

I dont think Manik ever led her on at first place...he never went after her..she was obsessively stalking him...he gave so many hints that he is not into her..he was just being nice to her when she arrived at his home even when he gave so many excuses..as genie said she is being an obsessive fan who thinks she owns his life ..and just coz he was nice with her couple of times her obsession reached a new level..

I posted a simillar posts some weeks ago. Where I said the same. But no one Agreed with me. But i do agree with you.

One thing i dont get about Soha how cant she no find anything suspicious about Manik that one min he gives her baho be next second he backs away. Is she so dumb that she can't see that?? I would get very suspicious if some guy did that to me.

And btw how long has she even know him to get all revengeful? And how much does she even know him?? That Alya was his girlfriend, his friends are fab5, he is in a band, he is in S.P.C.E and he is a student I dont think she needs to get revengeful when she doesn't even know him. It looks stupid

I dnt think manik actually used her...he nevr gave any wrong signal to her...rather he tried his bst to avoid her..(xcept da moments whn nandu was around)..nd soha would hav understood all those things cleary...manik nevr evn liked to talk to her...he didn't want her to come to his house...he also tried to avoid her parties nd all...so why did soha take it as a green signal...???is she so immature to sense da situation???she should hav understood dat manik has no feelings 4 her...manik nvr misled her..

i totally agree!

moreover, being polite and sweet (at times) with a person doesnt mean u r into that person. And Manik has always been beyond awkward with Soha most of the time!

Manik's only Fault: yes he was sweet to Soha occasionally ( we know why)

In Manik's favour:
1.even while being sweet to soha he was reserved, couldn't wait to get rid of her, mostly sarcastic, never ever he led her on. ( did he say to soha you are the most beautiful girl like Harshad did on meeting her??? thats called open flirting and a come on).
2.Manik never flirt with her...what he did was say yes to her yes sometimes ( like yes lets watch a movie after she was pestering him endlessly and we know why he said yes
3. He was straight forward rude to her other times...
4. he never touched Soha in any way
5. Nothing happened really so isn't playing with Soha's emotion a wrong term????

why I am saying these points????

because there is a minimum requirement of gestures when a girl would know yes the boy is interested in me or might get interested me in future. How can Soha even feel Manik might be falling for her??or how is it playing with her emotions??

I wont say its Manik's karma if soha turns a bitch...I would say god is happy with him thats why testing his love for Nandini

Soha is crazy if she can't take a no..reminds me of Urmila Matondkar in Pyar tune kya kiya ( though the hero in that movie was at fault coz he did compliment her though it was his job anyway but Manik never ever did show slight interest in Soha)
