I wash my face and look at myself in the mirror and decide that am ready to face Fab5 and Manik and I step out of the washroom and head straight to the hall. I'm surprised that everyone has suddenly disappeared from the hall. Where did they go? Have they no concern about their future? I decide to go and search for them.
Before I have even started searching properly, my problem is coming directly to me. Soha!😡 What does she want?
"Hey Nands!"she calls out to me. I hate it when she calls me Nands but what to do, she's Mr.Khurranas daughter.
"Hi Soha"I reply
"Have u seen Manik?" She asks me. How dare she? How can she ask ME about Manik? Okay, cool down.
"I don't know I haven't seen him since"I reply
"Okay then, talk to u later. I gotta find him urgently"she says and leaves. Oh God! what is she upto?
I have to find Manik before she does. So I hurry to find where Manik is. Just when I am near one of the classrooms, somebody pulls me into one of them and I guess I know who that is. I look up and see Manik as I expected.
For a moment I'm relieved that Soha hasn't found him but the next moment I'm worried that he has me. I try to fight him but it proves to be useless because that harder I'm fighting, the closer I'm going to him. I try to savor these feelings, just what I wanted. I'm in his arms, his eyes are boring into mine and his lips are not far away from mine. But soon I realize that this is wrong.
"Manik what do u want?"I almost yell.
"Don't u know?"he asks me in return.
"No"I reply
"Well then, here is my answer. I want YOU."he says very calmly but all my insides melt at the depth with which he said that. I want to say something but am lost. I don't anymore acknowledge my surroundings, all I now acknowledge is Manik Malhotra. He closes the distance that's left between us and he is so close to me that I can feel his breath on my lips. I think I'm gonna give up all my drama and kiss him now. I go further to let him know that I wanna be kissed.
But just then I hear familiar voices coming towards us. I listen closer to them.
