Nandu knew that she was not okay...but didn't want to show that to manic...she kept saying to herself "im fine..im fine" Just then she spotted shahid and handed him over the records and asked him to go to lecture room... by then manic has already entered the lecture hall..he turned around to check nandu but she was no where to be found...he stopped shahid and tried asking but end up saying "kuch ni..go and take even this" . He went around the college looking out for nandu.. just then cabir spotted him "hey dude where r u goin... lecture compulsory hai..nyonika ka order k sab attend kare"
Meanwhile nandu went to medical room and found nobody to help her..she spotted a peon and he rudely said " sab lecture hall mein hai madam ab koi ni ayega ... agar first aid hona hai clg kay saamne road pe clinic waha jaana" . Nandu mustered courage even though she was feeling cold and her vision getting blurred she somehow reached the road... and she collapsed there..people gathered over the spot and even few space students too.. Cabir and manic were still in the corridor..and they heard few students talking " college k saamne road pe collapse hogayi...itseems hamari clg kay first year ki miss murthy " Manik completely froze and he was stammering "Cabir...nandini..nandini.." And he ran towards the scene..cabir followed him and manic just pushed people around nandu..threw his sling away..held her in his arms..sobbing in anguish" Nandini...nandini.." he was screaming " somebody call doctor please.." Cabir brought his car by then and manic took her in his arms and sitting at the rear " Nandu..im sorry ..im really sorry..don't do this to me..please..." he spotted her finger and tried cold compression.." They reached the hospital nandu was treated at emergency ward.. Doctor confirmed it saying "it was a scorpion bite..nothing serious..she fainted out of shock..but her pain in finger wil be severe...right now she is under observation..she'l wake up soon" Manik rushed to the room inspite of doctor stopping him..cabir persuaded the hospital staff to let him be by her side.
Neither an inch he moved nor a glance from her side..with tears in his eyes he just sat there caressing her face and hair..reminiscing all those words which nandu spoke before she walked away..." Nandu im sorry..im sorry..u know I don't understand anything easily ...so is this why u r doing this to me." Kissing on her forehead with smile on his face and tears brimming " okay I lost..monster manic.. haar gaya tumse ..miss murthy..atleast ab uth jaao"..
After 2hrs nandu started gaining consciousness..she was crying in pain..Seeing this manic got literally crazy calling all the staff present. Nurse checked nandu and gave her a pain killer and asked manic to relax.. manic again sat next to her..nandu looked at manic..but she turned her face away tears were brimming down her face..Manik gently held her face and kissed her forehead..her cheek..that was when nandu looked at manic..in a feeble voice she asked " Dar gaye the..?" manik.. with tears and faint smile and low husky voice replied " mar gaya tha.." And den pulled nandu into a hug...nandu could no longer resist and she gave in..said in crying tone feeble voice " manik ..ab pata chala..what I went through when u were lying on hospital bed" Manik just kept on saying sorry sorry..and jus embraced her even more tight. And then helped her to lie down then sat beside looking at her with love filled eyes..nandu was feeling embarrassed and she was looking away..and this made manic smile.
Then nandu to get over the awkwardness looked at her finger and then asked " kya hua tha manik". Manik hold her fingers and kissed them and said playfully" kisi chote se scorpion ne tumhe kiss kiya " Nandu too now in a playfull mood looking at manik replied "i guess it was not as poisonous as it seems to be" And this made both of them to burst out laughing...
