Both Manik and Nandini are reacting according to their characters.

Manik is not big on words, he somehow cannot communicate using words. All his emotions he expresses physically, be it anger, jealousy, sadness, love, so its not a big surprise where he is coming from.

Nandini is right from her POV, I mean c'mon things are going way too fast for her and Manik is very intense in his passion and love 😆 Its only logical she wants to take things slow, get to know him on a non-physical way. Just that the word "friends" threw Manik offbalance, he only registered the "friends" part.

Totally agree with you all on Nandu's decision! 👍🏼

Know what? I remember reading "Fifty shades..." series and then bitching about it as I felt so stupid taking the dare from my friends! 😆

There were a lot of hate-worthy things about that series but what amazed me the most was the near-absolute lack of communication b/w the couple!

They were never friends, never had a proper conversation because..ooohhh...the lady was legit scared of her man!

You all must be wondering as to why am I referring the book all of a sudden. Well, lets just say that KY2 has a lot of Fifty in it- very subtly put, but it is there, anyway.

And Manik has a lot of Christian Grey in him. But hey, Nandu is no pathetic-excuse-for-a-woman, Anastasia Steele. She is Nandini Murthy! She's not someone who'll give up her self respect to be in the arms of a hot dude. She is, as Genie put it so wonderfully, a break to Manik's impulsiveness.

I don't blame either of them for reacting the way they did.
