I agree with most of it. You seem to know substance of this character. I haven't lost hope in her. If this wasn't a show, and nandini would be an individual I know as much as I do now, I would have all the patience to see my girl collecting herself and then stand back. She is that healer who would heal her soon. But what irks me the most is that its a show where they are limited, where I highly doubt how fans perceive Nandini, would even be matter of concern for makers! Her care for Manik without any expectations is most heart warming aspect. She is like that. I don't want her to get filled with anger, all I want is a little consideration from writers. People do get tired, her situations and conduct communicates heaviness to me. I feel heavy hearted because she is not able to see beyond Manik. She tries but then gets dragged. She decides to collect herself and then gets dragged back. One sided walk has turned me down.
She serving coffee was not a big deal. I did that in college when guests used to visit. That is like any other school duty. All I disliked is forceful injection of her in tracks. She might have come to scene in more sensible way. How about she getting noticed for her veena playing? Or something else! Her wish to be around Manik is gettable. Honestly, we all do that for people we care. But constant push and disrespect by Manik whenever things don't go his way, is something which arouses my demand for Nandini getting away.
i might sound scattered in thoughts but my angst is towards Makers. I see lack of sensitivity towards how girl has been taking so much and having no respite. If I would know that makers see half of how you see this character, I would sit back and wait to see my girl getting alright... Because i trust her substance..
Yep I get your point but you know what, it's too soon to lose faith in the makers. The makers of this seem quite receptive, also excepting this current track, so far into the show we have not seen Nandini backing down, moping around unreasonably or just running like a puppy after Manik the hero just for the SAKE of it all or for appeasing some aunty saas bahu sadistic audience. Nandini so far has not ever taken any crap from Manik without contributing her own response to it and HOW. She didn't even let him go for his sacrificial act with showing him her disdain or plain disgust...she went and punched him accompanied with her two cents.
It's just because she just had the scare of her life because of the near-amputation of his arm, and it's just the first day that Manik has returned to college after one week.
Not for nothing has Veena been introduced and she was shown searching Veena out. Better wait and watch, the makers must be having something nice and positive for her character too in the coming days.
