You know what I love the most about MaNanBir and all these prospects they have? They don't need to spell out everything to each other. Cabir knows Manik is in love, even though gadha hasn't admitted it to himself. Manik knows Cabir is hurting because of his mom, even though he gets a royal STFU every time he brings it up. & Nandini? She toh is the best. She instinctively knows Cabir is talking about her and Manik, not hinting about Dhruv like Mukti does. & tomorrow they'll talk about love, heart, and hurt. And they'll listen to each other and think about it, all without any 'clarifications'. This is yaari, this is pyaar. Bas.
How not to get all these overwhelming feelz for these three at 4am?Just how???❤️❤️❤️

Guess, we should just consider him a necessary evil and grit our teeth through his scenes

Glad to hear about the episode bank, now only they'd be more careful with their editing, life would be just perfect

I agree with both of you. Harshad on paper has a vastly different impact than harshad on screen, after watch and rewatching the past episodes its hard to think of harshad as a rich, suave, evil kind, he rather comes out as more of a petty, bitter guy (chindi chor types) ... so i guess i just don't see jerkshad as anything more than an irritating fly who is annoying but has to be there until swats him good!!

LOL hardly.. more like less intimidating, more warm and familiar now..

Btw, small confession but I used to be in such awe of you know.. you fascinated me the most.. especially by being so varied (read random😉) in your thoughts ..at one point you'd be all serious and wise and then just the moment you'd say something silly and funny.. such a little puzzle😎

They have a really easy comfort about them, I don't know the scenes come out natural rather than forced and I guess thats why it works so well for us. We relate to it, because this is how we are with friends, for the most part.

My favourite MaNan scene was Meeti Boliyan, there was nothing sexual about it, they were barely communicating but the way that song was shot and the scenes of them comfortably sitting and practicing against the setting sun was what turned the tide for me with regards to MaNan. Infact for me a lot of their casual scenes have set the tone for me. But unfortunately for a lot of people, sex is what sells. I mean look at that NavShad dove scene, zero emotional impact, Harshad had no emotional connect to Navya and yet people were so excited by it.

U r right that sex does sell a lot and many overlook the other beautiful scenes that add to their love story/friendship/building of the comfort they share...i mean i m not a prude, sexual attraction and all does add a dimension to a good chemistry/love story and it makes sense for teenagers, newly in love to be affected and indulge in that attraction is natural, but letting that overshadow everything is annoying, the physical attraction adds a dimension to the relationship/chemistry/plot but it is not the whole thing, why is it so hard to appreciate all the layers i doubt i will understand... anyways as long as the CVs keep doing what they are doing now and not be swayed to cater to the 'sex-crazed' crowd, i will be content😳😃

ManBir's kameena smiles when Nandu innocently asks- "Never done what?" 🤣

Such a contrast to their half-indulgent, half-amused smiles when she confessed she had never cheated in an exam.

Hey in my dictionary loony is the ultimate compliment..😛 not that I'd use it, I'd like to think I'm more articulate than that..
That's why it's even more impactful when it comes.. these sudden insights when we least expect it.. you be the boss at that😎
Intimidating to me personally because I'm an introvert.. so just the idea of mingling with so many people at once.. yeah, jitters😒
But true, if wasn't for all you awesomely friendly guys, who coaxed and cajoled and gently persuaded me to stay and give it a shot, I wouldn't be having the time right now and I owe you all for that🤗

@BI:You back!!!
And giving me early morning MaNanBir feels already☺️

I am not a prude either and I enjoy intimacy to a large extent but not intimacy that is devoid of any emotional connection and just to titillate the audience. Physical attraction by itself does not sell romance or a great love story. Infact when the show was on its first phase, a lot of the viewers were all about the layers to the show, the characterisations, the plotline with a few exceptions. The main forum was for the most part sane and entertaining. It says a lot when I hardly venture out of this AT onto the main forum. For the most part the Cvs have done a great job with the culture of this show. The only discontent I had was during the NavShad scene with the promotion of it, I felt it kind of attracted the sex-crazy lot onto this show.
