he wants HER to confess first that she cannot leave him and will try any trick to get it out of her.

Even during the confession sequence, he asked her what she feels for him first and not what his own feelings are for him.

Yeah she does, Nandini is Manik's anchor, the thing is he thinks its all about saying sorry. She needs to tell him exactly what the damage was. Uff these teenagers lead such complicated lives.

Though baba agreed to their relation not being a give and take, I don't think he imbibed it fully..Nandu is correct..sometimes baba is impossible

Hey!

I think Nandini should question her feelings for Manik right now. It's high time. The first phase of their relationship was her romantic side giving in to the caring, protective boy she saw; this part is going to be about her logical side battling it out with those feelings, understanding him and his insecurities better, so that they can move ahead with this thing they have, on a more equal footing. Nahin toh they will forever be stuck at the stage where Manik demands something and Nandini ultimately gives in.

he knows that he has hurt her but still doesn't realize how deep that hurt runs.Hell, she gave u her faith, her belief in her mom's theory of fireflies and Manik has no idea about any of that.He thinks that since they love each other, they should be together and everything will be good by a 'sorry'...but sometimes a sorry is not enough.Nandini will make him realize that I hope.

He just wants her to forgive him...it's still about him from his pov.

He needs to realize that u can't coerce one into submission...it will be her CHOICE this time to forgive him or walk away.

All his life, he has worked on that principle, so even though he said that to her, its hard for him not to revert to old habits. And he is very impatient, we have seen that, he does not give her time, he just is in her space all the time, saying accept my apology, take me back. It really doesn't work like that.
