I am glad they gave this angle , now Manik's sacrifice makes so much sense.

I think it's because after the accident, Dhruv shrunk in his shell. Manik is this flamboyant guy who has the world at his feet. Leader of a gang, heir to this rich household, all these fans around him, his devil-may-care attitude...he's the perfect personification of the youth who has it all. Like I said in my post, Manik might have confronted Harshad after the accident and broke off the friendship with him. Manik is the kind of the guy who would've blasted Harshad left, right, center because he could. Dhruv was never the front line person. Harshad has no reason to have any issues with him. He made Manik his sole target, the object of all his hatred, the one goal in his life ke aisse khatam karna hai. He wanted to break Fab5 because he knew the way Manik was so overtly protective of them.

Maybe Harshad knows that Dhruv depends on Manik or maybe he feels Manik should have been more close to him and deeply resents it, and overtime he has nursed that resentment to being so vindictive that he does not know what is right or wrong anymore.

I like how they always clear Manik's actions. There's always an explanation to his deeds. I had it all covered, was a revelation. It gave a whole new meaning to Baba's character, and then BoB, again explain why he decided to give away his love for Dhruv, he can give away his life for Dhruv, love is nothing. But Baba needs to know that he deserves happiness, and just because Dhruv saved him, he doesn't always have to give up on his happiness for Dhruv.

But Maisu - Dhruv has been Manik's weakness all along , Harshad has never bothered exploiting it. it's like he doesn't even resent the guy for being Manik's friend . I don't know he is too indifferent towards Dhruv. Like he gives more reaction towards Cabir.
