Manik motivates himself saying "broad daylight Manik, you can do this"
It makes me sadder. I mean he's still a damaged child inside, that vulnerable, afraid of the dark, alone, finding solace in stars wala little kid. He convinces himself that there's daylight outside. That it's not completely dark. He convinces himself that there's hope of the outside light to brighten this dark room.
Is this how he survived all these years? On hope. Darkness will be taken over by stars, all this torture will end Manik. You can do this. I can hear that little damaged kid clinging on to his knees, pulling them closer to his chest, sitting in a secluded corner of a dark room and telling to self that it's daylight. You can do this!
