Though he was being world-class dumb, but I still liked it for the pheels.

He couldn't deal with the pressure anymore...he just wanted a few minutes of alone-time with her to warn her of the real dangers...the concern, the desperation--oh so lovely!

Maybe, they needed such a drastic thing to happen to move forward...otherwise, they would still be stuck with the yes-nos and the I-dont-wanna-talk and the go-aways.
