This scene took me back to the tree scene, and the way Nandini turned her head back towards Manik, she wasn't even looking at him before. It felt like she knows, deep down, that something is amiss about him. I wanted Nandini to look into his eyes and see how his mask is slipping, I wanted her to see his dual personality again. On some level, she trust him, and she is still shining for him, even though she is in pain.
