But using the word 'LOVE' itself for either Alya or Nandu.. whether in the past or the present is just so COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER for Baba himself!!! I mean, this is the Manik who thought 'love' was too strong a word to use for his GF of 7 years! So, it makes no sense at all, he'd have that saved on his phone.. N if it's supposed to be deliberate then when would he get the time??!?

Wish, Manik has used the love for Alya before. It was in the initial episodes, he outright said that he loved her. I never bought the argument that what Manik and Alya shared wasn't love. It was love, just not the kind which lasts a lifetime. The kind of love teenagers feel, where they think its eternal but it doesnt' last long. The thing is that Alya still think it's eternal whereas Manik has moved on. Manik only hesitated to associate love with her when he was obsessed with Nandini, pre-store room scenes. Because at that moment, he didn't love Alya like that. Cuz by then he had seen Alya's suspicions on him regarding his feelings for Nandini and realized how typically bitter she felt about it. I don't think it's a big thing that he hasn't changed Alya's name in his phone. He hardly contacted her after their breakup. I doubt he'd have the time to search her name in his phone and change it..

Hmmm, so I'm going to ignore the fact that this is an OBVIOUS blooper given that we have all seen Alya's name saved as 'Alya' on Manik's phone on several occasions and just go with this argument..
Let's say it's always been saved as "LOVE".. even then I still feel it would be out of character for Baba because he is simply not one for sentimental gestures.. this is the kind of thing that suits Dhruv's character more.. he of the '93 roses' fame.. and that is the only aspect of this that truly annoys me.. because Manik is many things.. but he is NOT cheesy.. never that🤢🤢🤢
Unless of course Alya saved it that way and he couldn't be bothered to change it.. that seems more acceptable to me.. so I'll just tell myself that to tolerate this silly plot twist😆😆😆

That being said, I don't discount the fact that what Manik-Alya shared was love.. not the deep, soul stirring kind perhaps..but the soft, comforting kind.. two lonely souls keeping each other warm for a while..and it didn't last because they couldn't connect as people.. so of course, it was doomed to falter eventually..

Haila! Wish! 😲 Manik and not sentimental?! The dude is so mushy inside despite all his direct nature and sexual undertones. Again, referencing the Manik-Alya kiss episode where he told her that he loved her. Alya had given Manik a floating fire candle (Arey wo Tangled wali xD) and Manik was delighted as a child seeing it fly high.

Yeah, Manik is not a guy who'd recite poetry and buy a rose a day for his love but he's the kind who likes to mark his things in his own way. Nandini was Spot. Alya was Love. Dhruv is Buddy. Things like that. He's not a cheesy person as whole but he has a soft heart, he likes the idea of cherishing the little things. He may not outright do sentimental gestures but it's not to say that he doesn't value them. Don't you remember the way he melted seeing the gift Nandini gave him? I like your headcanon of Alya saving it as that and Manik not changing it. Not because he doesn't want to bother changing it, but because he likes the feeling of having someone special who'd do haq wala stuff to him like that..

But yeah, it's all blooper because Alya was always saved as Alya on his phone 😆
