Manik : How could he hurt her after he promised her that he would never hurt her again? How can he break her trust and think of passing her to his best buddy as if she is some commodity? What if she rejects Dhruv... what will he do then?
Nandini : How could Nandini believe that Manik was taking revenge on her after knowing him? He saved her many times, never took advantage of her and even shared with her his deepest secrets. His confession to her was a very touching one. He opted to go to her when he found about Cabir instead of any of his friends. He got emotional and reached her house at 3 in the morning just to see her and hugged her as if his life depended on her. She did not trust his love for her! Nandini did not even trust her fireflies! Her trust in love vanished because of just a few harsh words.
Well, I would say that the CV's murdered them literally.

Not really, they only knew each other for 93/94 days considering Dhruv and Manik met her on the same day. That's 3 months, in which half the time they hated each other. Cvs showed them say things about trust but no one can fully trust a person that quickly. I know Ky2 usually has a real fast track but still, trust takes longer to completely build and stay strong. So Nandini not believing him is completely justified.
Manik however is completely wrong. But it fits with his character.

I can understand Manik's situation but don't want to understand as I don't like separation 😔

It's all CV's plan..they are just ruining the story...though I am liking PaNi's acting but still can't tolerate this sacrificing track for too long

Yes, I'm not personally enjoying the sacrifice track. But hopefully it will be over fast. Cvs and parth himself described the show as being fast-tracked.

I think when he said ''Mission Nandini Accomplished" that already sealed the deal. He didn't have to further demean her and their memories. Those pure memories have now become a ugly nightmare for her.

Imagine this...Nandini is a butterfly and Manik trampled her. Now how is she going to survive? Of course, I know we are all betting on her to rise like a pheniox and she will, I have no doubt on that. But who will return the lost innocence, the young love, the never-die spirit, and most of all the promise in her fireflies. He snatched away everything that was near and dear to her, when her only fault was giving herself up to someone who is still struggling to find himself. It's not her fault he is weak enough to walk away. I know people often say its hard to walk away, but trust me it's harder to stay. It takes all your willpower to fight against the odds to make a relationship work.

I guess this is all makings of a young love and hasty decisions. Never realizing what you had until you no longer have it. Manik Malhotra is in for a real awakening and I hope it is served with buckets of ice cold water!
