Love is trust.but does this gives the right to break someone's heart?

First of all, let me introduce myself, I'm a new viewer, and watched all episodes in one week. Well let's discuss about what is happening in the show. I was very happy when I read we wont have any sacrifice track, but guess we were all wrong, because Manik loves Dhruv too much, and he's going to sacrifice his love for friendship.

Basically I have no idea what should one really do in this case? Does one choose a friendship of years for a recent love, or love is above everything???

What would you people have done in Manik's case?

The issue here is no matter what is happening is wrong, because Nandini isn't an object, and no one has the right to choose for her, not even Manik! For god sake, love just happens, you cant force yourself to love someone, likewise Nandini fell in love with Manik and vice-versa, just how can anyone even make Nandini loves Dhruv?

Nandini is a simple girl, simple dreams, but a romantic girl above all because she believes in her mother's theory of fireflies and true love, and now that she saw those fireflies, she knows that at least on her side, its true love. She likes to believe that everyone is good, and people do good things, she cant even imagine people being bad, that's why despite everything that happened, she gave Manik always a chance of proving he's good, and once Manik saved her and her brother Rishab, she gave him her absolute trust, at least as a human being.

But gradually circumstances pushed them together, and the attraction soared and blossomed into love, true love on both sides. Manik has decided to let her go for Dhruv's sake, but is he really thinking about Nandini here? Has he considered how much he's going to hurt her? I have no idea what Manik will say to Nandini in tomorrow's episode, but it must have been something heartbreaking because Nandini looked completely shattered in the precap, I have a feeling she will run away.

Now coming to the clich type of stories, a girl like Nandini when heartbroken, will completely break down, not like Mukti, but still her trust is going to be broken and once her trust is broken, she'd never be able to ever love again?! I wonder if Manik really thinks Nandini can love Dhruv, is yes, then he doesn't really know and trust her, because she promised to be always there for him, to put him in his prayers and always trusts him, she accepted her love for him. I know even Manik loves her truly, but the question is why isn't he thinking about Nandini here? In his attempt to make his friend happy, he's gonna break Nandini completely.

Nandini might never ever rise from such pain... I'm not at all for a sacrificial track, but lets hope that Manik doesn't try to tell Nandini to tell Dhruv and all, I hate when people try to be mahaan, for god's sake, being mahaan brings only pain and that too to even more people...

I'm a recent Manan fan by the way, I love this show a lot.

So my questions are right:

1) What would you have done in Manik's place?

2) What will Nandini do if Manik really breaks her heart, breaking her heart means breaking her trust?

3) Why cant people be less dramatic( ok I agree that this is a show) but still who likes mahaan characters?

The thing is - ethically should Manik share Dhruv's feelings with nandu ? Thats uncool friendship wise. Also Dhruv is fragile, Manik has seen him crumble emotionally and his fits. Hence it's tough to talk .

what you wrote is true, ... that's why i asked what would you have done in Manik's place? Friend or love?
But Nandini has the right to choose here, because even if Manik learn to live with a broken heart, and manages to help Dhruv with time after Nandini refuses him, the only one completely at lost will be Nandini. She'll never understand nor know why and what is happening with her?
Manik made his choice, but he should also ask Nandini for her choice?
Nandini is a very good girl, she can give her life for her friends, but i dont find her the type to play with love and emotions, she'll never accept Dhruv's proposal because she loves Manik, and that's the only truth for her
I'm not blaming anyone here, but life really complicates things at times...
but let's see what happens tomorrow? i seriously wish that Nandini's tears are not because of Manik😭

Trust is everything- Today even when Cabir was berating and cursing Nandu, Manik lashed out , he stopped him and didn't let him utter one word against her. He never even promised Dhruv that he will keep his feelings aside- there was just silence.

But the thing is trust is also what his fab5 friends especially Dhruv has for him. Fab5 has taken him for granted and they trust him to burn and save them always. Today in all their pain, they all sought him- Mukti, Cabir, Dhruv - everyone.

With Nandu - it is something very new , something deep and selfless. I feel even though he might step aside, he won't push her towards Dhruv. that will be a disservice and undo everything this show has created. You rightly said , she is not a thing or a toy that he will dictate their relationship, also she will never fall for Dhruv that is a given ? So what does this track will achieve. Perhaps it will teach Manik to love himself and live for himself. He can hurt himself but he even unknowingly cannot give pain to Nandu- he is incapable of that. So perhaps , he will give up and fight for their thing. This time it's just not about him , he is not the lone martyr .

I feel anyone who has lived through abandonment issues and has held to fab5 as family would have been this sad and broken. Perhaps first reaction would be to cool it and snap out of his thing with Nandu- this is not right but very logical given the character and his past.

Nandu once warned him that she won't forgive if he hurts her- and I expect her to stand on these words. Because her refusal to take him back will be his growing up. He would learn to think of his own happiness.

These circumstances are dramatic but very real- best friends fall for the same girl, pill popping, broken homes- just because we cover them these issues don't seem normal

Love is easy, it's life which is the complicated curve.

Actually people run away from problems in life, and relationships just break even more easier, those who fights are termed as despo and psycho while some even turn obsessive...

Also this was sudden instinctive reaction- Manik is in shock, logic goes out for toss. He has had an emotionally rollar-coaster day and it doesn't seem to be over yet. Anybody would loose shit immediately, he needs Musicana to be over for a proper look at things. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have time.

Time is a very important factor, but the thing is sometimes time work against us, and the more we let things as they are, the worst the become, but given this is a show, i guess Manan will come back together after a few months😛

I just hope they don't mess with the story coz I hooked to it of non cliche n un usual twists .
