That is alright from the perspective of the story, however, if you actually consider the situation from Alya's perspective, it's pretty horrible. The problem with people is how they don't try to understand the story from the perspective of the third angle. This is the guy she has been with for seven years, lost her virginity to, shared a lot of first times with, this is not some five-days casual dating. The way Manik treats her is hurtful and pretty terrible IMO.
Since Manik and Nandini are supposed to be in love, that doesn't make his behaviour okay. This is a problem the CVs have, it's no exactly Manik's fault. They lack the understanding to properly treat a breakup.
