Manik was too shocked and confused. He was driving and Sambhavi spoke breaking the silence.

Sambhavi: Nandini's dream since childhood was to fulfill her papa's project. And even her parents wanted to see her independent and famous...

Manik looked at her.

Sambhavi: Manik love is an important part of your life but in today's world being successful and fulfilling desires and dream is equally necessary...You know for the past 7 years Nandini had always been telling me that she wants to fulfill her papas' dream...she wants to stay in her house at USA...she wants to be with me...And today she did not want to go...

Manik stopped the car abruptly.

Sambhavi: I am not trying to say that your relation is wrong or something like that. Who am I to judge your relation...I am just telling that I want Nandini to have her own identity...in this relation of yours there is going to be some years of togetherness and then probably marriage...And then she will be just wife of Manik Malhotra...I want her to be Nandini Moorthy as well...

Sambhavi: being with you she is forgetting her passion, identity, responsibility and its not your fault at all...Because she is so much into her new found love that she has no time to think about anything else but you...There is no problem thinking about you but thinking about you all the time is definitely something to worry about...

Sambhavi sighed and then spoke.

Sambhavi: Being with your loved ones is necessary but it would be much better if that togetherness comes with self respect and own identity...And this is a matter of 7 years...You can come to meet her any time in these years but my decision of taking her is final...I won't let her forget her desires , ambitions...You are a really good guy and I know that you are intelligent to let go as in these years you will establish yourself as well...You are a household name being a member of Fab 5 ...Now pursue a business degree and take up your responsibilities MAnik...It's high time NAndini and you get out of the bubble and face your duties or rather realities of life...

She got out of the car and spoke

Sambhavi: I will go from here...Go home and think...I know you are smart enough to get my vision...Thank you Manik...

Manik stayed in the car. He was silent. Sambbhavi's words were ringing in his head. He knew what he had to do. He went to the studio where Fab 5 was desperately waiting for his return.

Mukti: thank god Manik Malhotra arrived before midnight...

Manik: sorry guys. Let's practice. We don't have time...Fab 5 needs to rock this concert on Saturday...

Cabir: did you again fight with her?

MAnik: what

Alya: you had a date and...

Manik: Alya let's just focus on music...

Take some sleep and then at 10 tomorrow I will be at Malhotra Industries...Want to check the business growth of the company...Then in afternoon I have to go at Nandini's place...Then in the evening will practice and sleep at 10 ...Then the concert next day...

Fab 5 looked at Manik at disbelief. Cabir rubbed his eyes.

Mukti: what the...

Cabir: Manik Malhotra has planned his day...

Manik: guys let's not waste time...We have a long way to go...

They practiced as planned and then Manik head home .He avoided calls from Nandini. He instead texted her.

Driving the car. Will call you when home.

HE reached home around 1:30 and he found Nyonika outside the house. The servants were loading her baggage in the car.

Manik: Going somewhere?

Nyonika: strange you are asking...Anyway I am off to London for the new business venture...

MAnik: when will you return?

Nyonika: Are you again into some mess...

Manik: Nyonika...

Nyonika: umm...in a week...

MAnik: alright...don't stress about the deals here...I will look after it with ...what's you managers name...Mr...Mr. Khan...Yah SO I will look after the company under his guidance...You come soon and yah take care...

Nyonika; what is wrong with you?

Manik: Nothing just thought that it's high time I look after my company...

Nyonika: I am glad that you thought about it...

Manik head towards the house and Nyonika also went to her car when he returned again and said

Manik: ahh. Nyonika...Which business school were you talking about admitting me in...Tell your secretary to Send me the details when you reach London will you...

Nyonika was amazed she was smiling all the while. MAnik walked to the house as if he did not notice it at all.He then reached his room and called Nandini .It seemed as if she was waiting for his call as she picked it in one ring.

NAndini: Manik Are you fine...I am sorry. I ...Won't go...

MAnik: why...won't you go...?

NAndini: NO I am sorry...I did not...I did not know maasi was talking about this...Had I known I would have...

MAnik: rejected the offer and say no to your dreams...

NAndini: huh

MAnik: NAndini go and fulfill your dreams. Let's establish ourselves...And be capable to love each other...

NAndini: Manik...

MAnik: Nandini. Tomorrow I will meet you at after noon...I have a very busy day...You mind sleeping right now...

Nandini smiled unknowingly to herself.

The next day Malhotra Mansion was in a rush. Manik had put the whole house in work. He had waked up at 6 and had asked the servant to bring all the files of the company collaborations. He then called his important employees and asked them everything about the company profits. It seemed he wanted to be prepared before he enters the company. He had his breakfast and left the house at 9.He reached the office well dressed in his black shining car. He then went straight to Nyonika's cabin and with the help of Mr. Khan attended and understood the meetings. He then left the office at 12.He went to Nandini's house. Everyone was there packing things and she was now accompanied by Fab 5 who seemed as if they were about to kill him.

Manik: All set...

Cabir: Who is this person Nandini...We don't know him...

Alya: yes Fab 5 boycotts you...MAnik Malhotra...

MAnik: arrey...listen...

Mukti: how on earth did it occur to you to hide form us that she is leaving...?

MAnik: I myself came to know about it yesterday...

Dhruv: that's why you were angry but you did not bother telling us...

Cabir: dekhli teri dosti...

Alya: thank god I called Nandini today otherwise we would have known about it when she would leave.

MAnik: I was about to tell you

Manik and Nandini left and to their surprise it was Maasi's house they were sent to. Manik's cell phone just beeped with the message then.

Manik smiled and opened the door for NAndini.

Nandini: All this was planned by you and maasi...

MAnik: I had no idea...It was all her...

Manik was speaking when NAndini ran to him and embraced him tightly.

MAnik hugged her back and stayed content with hereafter some time he spoke.

Manik: NAndini...You are not planning to run form the airport are you

MAnik: yah because I don't want you to leave this opportunity...Lets live the individual dreams our friends and family have seen for us. And then after that we live our dream...

Manik laughed and then said

Nandini smiled and nodded her head.

So MAnik carried her and put her in the kitchen cabinet. He then surfed the net and finally made one.

MAnik: so here it is Madam...Manik's special coffee...With lots of love...

NAndini: Impressive...By the way you went to office...

MAnik: yah...

NAndini looked at him with questioning glances.

MAnik: yah...I thought...when the company is mine and when I spend its money. I should return it back as well...Something like earn and learn...

Manik: I knew it. So I have already decided to spend my holidays with you...

NAndini laughed at his impulsive and protective nature and then they spend the time just being with each other. Talking to each other and grabbing all the moments.

When they returned it was pretty late already. Sambhavi and others were waiting for them.

Sambhavi: Manik met the person...

Manik: yah...He is a great guy...thank you...

Cabir: so when is the flight tomorrow...

Sambhavi: the first flight leaving at ten itself...

Alya: but that's too early...I mean if she could watch us perform one song...

Sambhavi: I am sorry guys but if we don't catch first flight the other one is really late at midnight...

Manik's face turned gloomy.

Manik: oo...I won't be able to meet you then...This is my last good bye...

Nandini looked at Manik shocked. She nodded her head in disagreement.

Manik: guys let's go...She has an early morning flight and we will be busy with the concert tomorrow...Let's leave...

MAnik hugged Nandini and said

Manik: Good night and good luck...

The next morning Nandini waited for MAnik to arrive but he did not come. Her face brightened when she saw Fab 5 coming to see her off at the airport but Manik did not come. He had switched his phone off and Cabir gave her red roses saying Manik sent it for her .She took it with heavy heart and enquired about him but Cabir looked at her helplessly. They waited for him to turn up at the airport but Manik did not arrive. Nandini hugged Mukti and Alya who hugged her and rushed to the car immediately and drove off. She was left with Cabir and Dhruv. They looked at Sambhavi with pleading eyes to wait for sometime but Sambhavi walked off and Nandini as bound to follow.

Here on the other side Mukti and Alya arrived at the green room and Manik was acting very oblivious to everything and practicing.

Mukti: why did ou not come to see her off...?

Manik: this tune is better we should go for this...

Alya: MAnik...

Manik: Alya the designer is waiting for you...

He was avoiding their interrogations when he felt somebody slap him tightly across the face. It was Cabir.

Cabir: why did you make that girl cry and leave...?

Manik looked at them helplessly.

Manik: I...I...

Dhruv: you should have seen her face...She was waiting for you...

Manik: Had I gone she would have never left...I had to ignore her otherwise she would not fulfill her dreams...

Mukti: but Manik...

Cabir: you know what MAnik...You are selfish...You did not go because You could not let her go...The strong and macho man feeling which you are giving would go in drain if you went to the airport...You are weak...

MAnik shouted angrily...

MAnik: yes. I am weak...but I want her to be strong. I don't want her to sacrifice her dreams for me...I want her to excel in my love and not...be irresponsible...I want her to be proud of this relation...and not shy away with it...I want her to be Nandini Moorthy and not only MAnik's Nandini

Manik broke down. Alya and Mukti comforted him.

Cabir: thank god. He spoke his mind...or rather heart...

Dhruv: he must be feeling much better...

Everyone laughed and went to get ready. Finally they came and then performed. Firstly they performed on Robarroo .

MAnik then took the mike and said

MAnik: This song is for someone who means the world to me...And all the people in love...Excel being with your loved one...Feel the magic of love and love that relation more than the person...

He then sang Tum ho Toh and thought.

MAnik: Distance does not make the love story incomplete...This is giving a new turn to our love story Nandini...I will love you HUMESHA...And this time lapse will add the respect and understanding quotient to our lives...
