How many attempts did it take for Manik to finally seal his lips with the fragrance of Nandini's? As nave as she was, she could not help but begin to blush as the surrounding air became thin. She felt the proximity of their bodies as he leaned in closer. She didn't want to look into his eyes at this point so refrained herself from opening them.
He took the chance to examine her pink lips as they slowly parted waiting for the arrival of his. He lifted his hand to her face and played with the lock of hair that was sat on her shoulder. Manic took the chance to run his fingers over her skin as he pushed the hair to the back. He moved in and kissed her neck to which Nandini's eyes fluttered open.
Manik the monster was so deeply struck by love that he was unable to control his physical advances towards Nandini. He had his hand cupped across her cheek slowly lifting it towards her hair as he entagled his fingers between it. Nandini could not resist and held his hand in support and acceptance. He smiled with a little satisfaction and spoke,
"Are you willing to make me yours?"
She rested her other hand on his chest and said,
"Love is trust and I know for a fact that I can trust you with all my heart and that you have won me over in both."
A smitten Manik pulled Nandini much closer towards him. She could feel their breath becoming one as the distance shortened between them and then it happened.
It was tender and he could feel the lipstick being exchanged onto his lips. His jaw hardened but he went soft and slow to comfort Nandini. His hands continued fiddling with her waist and arching her back in the moment. Nandini stopped and pulled away a little as Manik passed his finger down her cheek to her chin and pressing his lips against hers for the final time.
The air between them became moist and hot as they opened their eyes to reality. Nandini's eyes were glistening as she jumped into his arms for a hug. She was smiling as she experienced one of the most memorable moments in her life. Manik replied with a smile as he kissed her head and continued caressing her hair.
