and yea manik now got to see how much the fireflies meant for her..even though not fully but seeing her so broken ..her beliefs gone was too shattering for him..probably thats the reason he dint try to put another sarcastic drama ...

i seriously loved her questions so much...and that pat in the end ..i means she knows him n out..iske twister dimaag ko ye khud hi nahi samaj paa raha...but he dint wanted his truths to be lies ..so he confessed but hamesha confuse kar deta hai nandu ko...

ya kitne josh se keh raha tha chodna tha tho pyaar kyo kiya...fir tinggg ghanti baji...🤣

it has happened earlier also whenever he used to give gyaan about love to cabir..like after dhruv's confession..hamesha he relates it with his own behavious towards nandu aur aaj tho ultimate wake up call tha..😆

cabir prolly has such a bunch of good friends who support him that he is able to overcome everything ..

the fireflies bit was too emotional ...and i liked how he quickly took his words back,'she does not like it anymore.'...one coz he is the reason that nandini lost her fireflies and secondly he does not want dhruv to increase her pain ...he is almost on the verge of beating up his brother like bhai 😆..

Oh thanks for pointing that bit out! Yeah the way she smacks his head kinda like exasperated😆😆...there is such EASE b/w them in a sense even after all the heartbreak...that instinctual quality has always been there in the way they behave with each other, take liberties with each other...Nandu smacking him around, him being helpless in wanting to reach out to stroke her cheek or touch her in general...

The way she did it today though did get that sense that she still understands him somewhere subconsciously but is exasperated with his gadhapan😆...really Nandu is his ANCHOR...she's steadied him in some of his darkest moments...that is what they connected on and that is the INSTINCT that Nandu still responds with regardless of what all he's said to her...and somehow it's so endearing that this TINY si Nandu smacks him/bosses him around when he's sitting there so much bigger in size but still so meek in front of her😆


Aww I really want Manik to fill the fireflies back in the jar somehow and give it to her...maybe he will use Dhruv to get that done too😕😆😆...aur woh gadhaa khushi khushi "buddy" bol ke kar bhi lega *rolls eyes*

I was glad to see ki chalo THODA toh Dhruv ko bhi Manik ka behavior unusual lagaa...maybe he will think back to this later...

But Manik being so thoughtful about the fireflies today makes me want to see him reinforcing that belief in Nandu again soon...

LOL he did that during the Spot days...sarcastically 😆😆...but I bet is scene mein he wanted to do it affectionately...kabhi admit nahin karega par😆...total rasgulla she is indeed...haha

oh yea and the fireflies..he will bring it up for her one day..damn sure...

What she meant/didn't mean or what she believed/didn't believe is a jumble right now...I think in that moment, yes she believed it as she said it...her heart is so shattered, she wanted to lash out at him...since he is the one that has given her a world of twisted reasons for his actions to begin with...

But subconsciously yes uska mann nahin maan raha that she could be so wrong about Manik...it's a battle of the conscious v/s the subconscious for her right now...I think that moment when Manik clarified to her that he didn't spike her drink and the other stuff, she did believe him but again she doesn't trust what her heart tells her anymore.

Sorry to keep coming back to this scene😆

But another fav. bit that I must mention...I LOVEEE how Nandu is all but falling asleep while talking in this scene as she goes, "Nahin toh Ams daantegi" and the little woozy nod she gives when Manik goes, "Achha?" Such PERFECT timing!👏 Niti did an awesome job in this bit.



I even love the little goofy headshake she does in the end to say "Nahin" after Manik asks her, "Aur kapde/bartan nahin dhone?"🤣
