Love Always Trusts. 1 Corinthians 13:7
People say the most important three words in an relationship is "I Love You" but I bed to differ. Yes, I Love You is important but the most important thing of all are these three words: "I Trust You".
Trust and love go hand in hand. Like Manik said to Alya there is no point of being together if there is no trust. Because you see there can be no love if there is no trust. The quote above says that, if you love someone you trust them. Without it there will be no love, no true and unconditional love.
And Nandini trusting Manik and confessing that fact to him is a big step for both of them. I know I don't have to explain why and how it was a big step, we already know the reason don't we?
But for me the highlight of the episode wasn't the episode at all, it was the pre-cap for tomorrows episode.
To be very honest, the first thought that came to my mind was "There he goes spoiling all the progress." But then when I mulled over it a little more I came to a rather complex but beautiful conclusion.
The question of whether Nandini trusts Manik has been answered.
Now the question arises that does Manik trust Nandini?
Does he trust her with his secrets?
Does he trust her with the secrets of the people he loves the most?
Does he?
I don't think so. Yes he does trust her with a few things, he has opened up to her before but the confessions have always been disguised, ambiguous.
We saw a drunk Nandini and realized she trusts him. Trusts him to take care of her. Trusts him to protect her. Trusts him to not use her. She trusts him with herself, plain and simple.
But Manik doesn't. And I think this yelling match will be a step towards him trusting her completely as well.
Should he have yelled at her? NO.
Should he apologize? Hell yeah!
Will he? Maybe but in his own way.
I am certain that he will finally trust her when he realizes it was never her intention to tell anybody. When he will realize that she supports Cabir just as much as he does. This will be Manik taking a big step towards this relationship.
Which is very important.
edited: I understand that his reaction was normal. But his post isn't about that, it's about him finally trusting her. It's about the course they will take for him to learn to trust her.
Now coming to the female protagonist, Nandini.
Will she be mad at him for yelling at her? I think so.
Will she be hurt? Yes.
Will that hamper the foot she kept forward by trusting him? Absolutely not!
Nandini will understand that he is worried about his friend. That he yelled at her for Cabir, out of protectiveness and love, not because he has a problem with her. And I am sure everybody already knows this but whats important is the fact that she will understand. That she will understand who he really is. She will see past the anger and see the concern. She will see past him spitting fire and see the love fueling that fire.
That would be her prove to Manik that she doesn't only trust Manik to be a good human being in general but understands his behavior and his concern and love for his people.
And according to me that is the highlight of today. That is the highlight of their relationship. Every step they took from the beginning was leading to this.
