Was it just me or was the first scene edited in a messy way? I was convinced that it was Manik imagining Nandini's indifferent reaction. Like it happens in funny movies ke someone wants to go for a joke but they imagine some possible reactions to it and then tread accordingly. But ye tou sacha scene nikla. Messily edited scene but the implications though <3

I liked it how they confronted the night head on and covered everything. No keeping secret and burning in angsty though I was kinda of looking forward to that. But that's KY2's strength; it doesn't play of major tropes as they are like other shows and adds their own twist to it. Manik was being all teasy about the night and Nandini was all O.O at his gall. I squealed so hard at the way he casually kept touching her and she didn't fight. Partly cuz she was in her own shocked land and partly cuz she's used to it. Best bit was her running away from her and his smile at that xD Awwwiiee!! Babies be so cute! <3

"I trust you."

These words. The words which mean the world, no, the UNIVERSE to Manik. The words he doesn't get to hear so often. The words for which he has always work so hard, always on the lookout, always so alert; she said those words. And she didn't say them in a manner to stop him or as a last straw to use as a means of escape from. She stated them. Simply and plainly. Told the truth as it was meant to be told. Bila jhijhak. Without hesitation. And Manik's reaction? He had come there to surprise and shock her, he was being all teasing and deliberately bringing up the night in a way that was exaggerated and most uncomfortable for her. But ultimately it was him who ended up getting the shock. The way this girl, HIS girl, affects him. With her simplest of words, with her most normal of gestures. She blasts it all on him and he doesn't even realize it. The way his grip loosened and he took a step back...aah. Precious <3

Can I just applaud the way that they never take a step back? Everything that happens takes them forward, always. No stopping, no going back. It's just progress for them. CVs could've taken the amnesia way, delaying the confrontation for days, but they didn't'. It was talked about and dealt with the very next day. And it added more to their comfort level. Him asking her to tell him about her spiked drink, her promising to do so. Her turning around when he didn't even say anything. They be so fated and perfect ke I go all speechless.

Dhruv had me smiling throughout. HE WAS SO DARN ADORABLE!! The makeover session of his...aaah! I love this Dhruv and this Alya who has something to do. Too cute for words! It was so good to see Utkarsh's face in all its glory. I am still shocked ke he's 20?! :O There aren't any cute 20 year guys where I study! WHY LORD, WHY?!

Fab5 joking around, having fun, laughing and teasing - PRECIOUS SOULS!!! I can see them being like this for days and I wouldn't get bored. They all bring such wacky fun to the scene with their individual quirks. Their snark, sarcasm, wit; it's just too darn precious. Cabir ordering Manik as if he's a waiter and Manik's, "Acha point hai. Parliament mein uthaouga" had me 🤣 Dhruv and Manik are adorable but Cabir and Manik is my fav duo! They are just too darn hilarious! Though seeing them, I am believing it more and more that Cabir will be the first one to support Manik in whatever decision he takes. He was actively teasing Manik about Nandini but trust Manik to avoid the subject. Koi nahin, aage sahi. But on a serious note, Manik has been so supportive of Cabir and for all the right reasons; the concern for Cabir's safety and secret never left Manik's mind. If not for anything else, Cabir owes Manik for that at least. Though I wish it won't be like that and Cabir would help, support, whatever Manik because that's what friends do.

Dhruv-Nandini. Poor lad Dhruv. Seeing him all SMILING like that, mera dil toot gaya. Nandini's head is occupied with so many things that Dhruv is taking a back step with every passing day. When she didn't immediately notice his change and the way Dhruv's face fell, NOOO! Baby! I don't think I can handle your angst! I would've hated it if Nandini would've gone away without noticing it but that's not like Nandini. She's just too damn sweet and observant to let her friends go away without a smile. The way Dhruv's face lighted up when she said so firmly that any girl would be lucky to have Dhruv was aww worthy! <3 But she also called the girl who wouldn't fall for him a retard' 😆 I am confused...should I call her that? She's gonna fall for Manik so...😆

Navya-Harshad. It was a nice touch to add, Navya's fear and trauma of being laughed at like that. Harshad is being a great friend, I dunno if he has any other motive in mind. Probably does. But I doubt he wants to use her like a tissue paper and throw away. I guess he doesn't know what to do with her; let her remain his friend only or pursue something more with her. So maybe that's why he's doing it both.

Oooh...Nandini found out about RagBir! Raghav was back in his stern mode and it sucked to see Cabir always trying to calm him down. But this secret is too big and now that more people are finding out...yikes, the promo is gonna come true sooner than later.

Precap - reserved till tomorrow. Though from this point, I'd say it's completely justified. Feelings for Nandini aside, Manik has always prioritized his friends over anything. He panicked and got angry when she told her that she knew and threatened her which was so like Monster Manik, the one who wants to remain in control. The one which ain't going away because that's essentially him. Nandini can modify it, mellow it down but she can never take it all away from him.

Manik- Nandu : Manik is a fiercely protective mother hen masquerading as a human, caring intensely for his loved ones. The tenderness towards Nandu in her inebriated state, then the good natured ribbing the following morning screamed adorable! And she stated it- implicit trust. She trusts him, which in both their perspectives is the essence of love. To be able to do a free fall knowing you will be safe, come what may. He trusted and acted on her words- words that asked him to understand and accept changes, new emotions. That's what hit him at that moment, the magnitude of those words and the warm, fuzzy feelings that ensued ❤️.

Cabir-Manik are HOWLARIOUS! 🤣 But, I love how underneath all the snarky banter is a vigilant Manik, who has taken it upon himself to safeguard interests/ secrets of his loved ones. He lets Cabir know of the spiked drink intended for him and advises him to stay alert. Cabir's secret is a sensitive issue and hence the outburst in the precap- the fiercely protective mother hen coming to the fore yet again. I'm glad Manik- Nandu will tackle this issue together. United we stand, divided we fall. This coming together foreshadows what's to come hereafter. (me gets to see Cabir- Nandu !! )

Cabir- Raghav: Another real conflict in this relationship. They have different takes on friends, family and society in general. One wants to be free and fearless, has implicit faith that his closest circle will accept them, while the other wants to remain in hiding (painful past/ unsupportive circle). It's very important to show that same-sex couples experience love and tackle conflicts in the same way as couples do especially to Indian audiences that have only seen caricatures of gay relationships so far 👏. I pray for these two to get on the same page soon, at the same time use a balanced approach to handle their issues. We, as a society have become cruel, vicious and insensitive. My heart breaks a little every time I see them and think of all the impending anguish and torment in store💔.

Dhruv-Alya: They look like different people when they are together- cheery and pleasant. Isn't this another beautiful aspect about friendship- to be able to talk openly, smile, to give each other advice on just about anything. They are quite the equals, no controlling behavior. I like how she said that he needs to shed his inhibitions, steps out of the shadows, interact and put words to his feelings 😊.

Dhruv-Nandini: Very unfortunate. How one is hurtling forward in infatuation/ love at breakneck speed while the other always maintained a platonic and chaste take on the relationship.

Harshad- Navya: Harshad essentially isn't an evil sadist who enjoys others pain, he is just manipulative and wants what he wants - without thinking through the consequences. I do not know if and how Navya is his brahmaastra' in his plans. Not yet. Navya's behavior makes me cringe.🤢
