It was her smile that did it. Or perhaps it was her strong will. He wasn't really sure. He didn't know what love was but with Aaliya going on about how to get your perfect girl, he knew he'd do anything to have her in his life, love him and be there for him. He'd never felt this way about anyone else. Manik said that there was a perfect girl for him out there but he didn't want a perfect girl, he wanted a girl who's perfect for him. He wanted Nandini. Tomorrow he'd woo her. He'll shower her with complements and give her all his attention.
Manik
The girl was barking mad. He knew it and he knew she was no good for him. She was so different. For god's sake she could barely take a cup of spiked drink, not even full up mind you, and she was tipsy as hell. He could've left her in that corridor, but what if she fell down or something. Then she'd get hurt. And something about the image of her hurt or in pain made him sick to the stomach. So he followed her. As dumb as it was he played her little game of hide and seek. He even let her puke on his expensive shoes. He wanted her to be alright. And he wanted to be the one to make sure that she was alright.
Nandini
Her guard was down. And she wasn't sure what was up with her. But Manik he was there. He was always sort of just there. And she wanted to know why. He was a down right fool though. Stupid monster. Then he was gone for a second and it was like a sudden panic attack. With him, nothing could possibly harm her. What could harm her when a monster was by her side? Nothing. Then again he was always messing with her. Riling her up to her last nerve and she hated that. It baffled her how someone nice like Dhruv could ever be friends with a monster. Lately however she understood. The monster wasn't so bad after all. He cared. He always cared.
a/n-Just some character analysis from yours truly in an OSish format. I hope I got their voices right though. Maybe I can do something like this more often 'cause it was a lot of fun. haha.
