Okay, maybe I am jumping the gun but Raghav-Cabir, as a track, needed to be explored better. Not only as individuals, but as a pair. I get that this relationship was a landmark relationship for Cabir, but since they did start the track, why end it within a week? Why not give us more of Raghav and his thought process? He is an intriguing character who can contribute a lot to the show if given a chance. I am so disappointed with the CVs that I can't even talk about it properly. The homosexual track was the one adding a unique depth to the main plot. I can't believe they are going to just do away with it so soon. Their track was not only presenting interesting perspective to homosexuality, but also every long-term relationship.
Let this not become one of those forgettable youth shows with no attention no anyone else other than the leads. Also I can only hope that this is not the first disappointment of a series to follow. I don't know about others, but I really don't watch the show only for Manik-Nandini or some other single character, so this just spells bad news for me. Opinions?

I think you are being a bit impatient. Despite them having only 5 episodes of relationship, let's not forget the fact that this week showed us MANY things about them. Their problems, their love, their suffocation, the freedom they find in secrecy; we saw all of that. If we stretch it then we'd only get repeated things. Like the done to death hit n miss sequences that happen in other shows. I am actually looking forward for this breakup because it brings new things to the table. Just because they broke up doesn't mean they are over. They are so in love! And this was always more of Cabir's story than Raghav's. Cabir is the one who has to find his happiness and freedom and if Raghav won't support him with it, though his reasons are very logical and correct, Cabir has to find it on its own. WIth the help and support of his friends. Raghav may be an interesting character but Cabir is the one who is the central one.

Also, it's just a promo. It's not like it's going to happen on Monday itself. Cabir revelaed as gay promo was aired an entire week before the revelation happened. Same can be the case this time. They won't just show, "Okay dude, it's over" and Raghav will walk away. Kuch tou hoga which will trigger Raghav's reaction. He is already uncomfortable with Manik knowing Cabir's secret..and if Cabir will keep pursuing his wish to tell his friends about them, it's only logical for Raghav to want to back away. He is comfortable in his secrecy. Even if the world will accept their homosexual relationship, will they accept a teacher-student relationship?

I think it is to show how Raghav can not keep up with the pressure of a homosexual student-teacher relation...he is scared coz he knows how major the consequences can be...I think this is to make Raghav understand that things can be right and ppl will eventually accept them. Maybe Kabir along with Fab5 after they come to know that he is gay make Raghav understand the different dimensions of the whole thing.

I think it is to show how finally they both come out of the closet and speak up for themselves.😃

It is not an end to the track...just the beginning as to how others come to know about it all and their reactions and support.

Mais, Yes, I do see what you are trying to say, but my reaction was more emotional than logical. I don't usually become emotionally invested in fictional characters, but Cabir and Raghav- I am just too in deep with these two.
No, it's not just because of the homosexual track, it's also because how their relationship was injecting a layer of depth into the main plot. They were becoming that staple long-term relationship couple in shows who can deal with anything and be with each other. My point is that while this breakup is required, it shouldn't have happened this soon. They needed to give a little more time to this and run it as a parallel subplot. I have this feeling that they don't know how to run a number of parallel subtracks with each other. I feel that they need to close one track to start a new one. Which may not be a bad thing, but incompetent. But well, like you said, I need to calm down and wait awhile.

Honestly I though Raghav's reaction was consistent with how he has been shown with regards to the relationship. Raghav does not want to be outed, he wants the" safety net " of anonymity, whereas Cabir is revelling in the joys of first love. Their ideology on this has been consistently different.

The track is far from over, in fact I feel its just beginning.

yes Raghav is very much uncomfortable with the aspect of student-teacher relationship and the consequences it will present

they'll both finally see what it'll be like...moreover i want to know if this is first relationship for both of them..i need to know more and i'm trusting showmakers with it

i dont think they're over..you can see the way they both look at each other...they have some disagreements ofcourse

Zoha, okay, this is a very good post.
Now that I am slightly calmer, I can see the point of breaking up. Not that I did not see it before. But it's like there is a difference between conjecture and reality. While all of us knew and felt that the breakup may just be around the corner, it still hits hard when it actually happens. I do hope what you say happens and their love story, if not a happy ending, at least has a satisfactory one. Manik and Alya's breakup felt extremely rushed so I don't have much hope here.
Also, I do feel that they need to start running more parallel track with each other. That will only contribute to the show.

SG, I think its not exactly the end, I think this is the beginning. Raghav was not comfortable with Manik knowing Cabir's secret, he has been living in the closet and has adapted to it. The thought of coming out in the open and being ridiculed kills him from inside. Its not easy for him, the guy talked about being "publicly burned", this shows how traumatized he is. The thought of someone knowing his secret tears him up. Maybe, he'll see all the support and positive response Cabir gets from his friends and might start fighting his demons. He needs to deal with his insecurities first, and I suppose cv's are going to shows us just that.
I rambled and made no sense. -_-

Zoha loads of best qualities of chocolates in your mouth ...

I will just love this so much -- Raghav being hit with the hurricane that is fab5 when they see how UnCabir Cabir has become and then Cabir coming to his senses. Seriously you be Prophetic, girl.

I kind of expected Raghav to react like this and I always thought their story is about acceptance, not just from others but Raghav's own. Right now for him, being gay is like something he doesn't want to be, this story is as much a love story of Cabir and Raghav as a story about loving one's self.
