Nandini was pacing her room wondering whether or not to go and give Manik a visit, she decided to call him one last time but his phone was switched off. She thought to leave it and that she would thank him the next day but she saw Rishabh sleeping peacefully and remembered the way Manik took care of her brother and she knew that she had to go to his house. She said a silent prayer and left the house. Upon reaching there the servant told her to wait upstairs in his room as Manik was not home yet and that Nyonika madam would not like it if she saw anyone waiting down as she had just returned from a long trip.

Nandini stepped into his room and was surprised at how big it was, she saw that there were no family pictures. She picked up a photo frame and smiled at how happy FAB5 were looking in the picture, she knew that after what happened today they must be disappointed with their loss. She found one more frame which was a picture from their school days, she didn't know that all of them were friends since school days and now it made so much sense for her as to why they always stuck together. Nandini sat on a sofa and started thinking about Manik and how her Chachi was right about him that he is really a good friend.

She had waited there for about an hour and yet Manik had not arrived, getting tired of sitting she went to the balcony and stood there. She saw there was a small wooden swing and smiled, she sat there immediately as she loved swings. She looked up and sighed at the beauty of the night sky, there was a half -moon shining brightly surrounded by glowing stars. Ever since she had come to Mumbai she had never glanced upon the moon or the stars but since Manik's house was not surrounded by tall buildings she could see the night sky clearly.

As Nandini was enjoying her time, Manik had arrived in his room as soon as he put his guitar down he saw the balcony's door open. He went and was surprised to see Nandini there, he stood by the door taking in the view of how angelic Nandini was looking sitting on the swing and smiling at the sky. If Manik had his way he would stop time then and there, just a few minutes he was in a distraught condition but standing there and looking at her calmed the storm inside him and he felt peaceful. Nandini heard a noise behind her and turned back and was astonished to see Manik standing there quietly she wondered as to how long he was there standing just like that.

Manik broke the silence and said "Nandini, what are you doing here? I thought I had made it obvious that I don't want to speak to anyone by switching off my phone".

"Manik, I came to thank you I know I could have waited till tomorrow but I had to see you". Nandini spoke quickly.

Manik on hearing her words came closer to the swing and sat down next to her and asked her about Rishabh. She understood that he was in no mood to argue so she replied that he was fine now.

"I really wanted to thank you for what you did; you had no reason but still you helped him and this proves how good you are". Nandini spoke confidently.

Manik didn't like to be associated with good and said "Listen I had no option if you would have picked your phone then Fab5 would have won".

"Say whatever you want Manik but it doesn't change the reality I don't why you project yourself as the villain when you are not".

"It's none of your business if I want to be the villain or not so if you are done thanking me or whatever you can leave". Manik said with irritation.

Nandini thought to herself that he was right it really was not her place to interfere in his personal matters as they are not even friends. She didn't know why but that thought bothered her and to clear her thoughts she looked at the moon and spoke loudly

"You know the moon orbits around the earth and completes a cycle from the being the dark moon to becoming the new moon"

"And it's so good to have Professor Nandu back, is there any point to your science lesson?"Manik asked sarcastically.

Nandini ignored his sarcasm and replied "My point is that just like the moon goes through different phases, we as humans also go through phases. We go through the dark times and then we also experience the good times where everything is shining brightly in our lives".

She continued "Manik, you know you are exactly like the moon you bring darkness into others life but you also bring in light. You have brought darkness in my life earlier but nowadays you are only bringing in light by helping me and my brother. Manik you think you are the villain who is only capable of hurting others, but that's not true you are like the moon bringing brightness and even if you bring darkness you only fill it up with your light."
