I am very happy to see they haven't gone the usual stereotypical way of portraying a south Indian girl with the half sari and gajra (jasmine flowers) and a weird accent of Hindi. We don't all wear half sarees and gajras all the time (hell, I can only remember only once instance I have worn a half saree in 25 years of my life😆 and I wear gajras only at weddings.😆). Nandini is so real, her clothes, her temperament everything is something I can relate very much to.

This this and more, I am a South Indian too, not Tamilian but I grew up in Chennai and no one really goes around wearing half sari and gajra everyday, glad they are keeping the stereotypes to a minimum. Love the Ayyappa factor also, it was a nice touch!

Catty - Just imagine! Manik learning some basic Tamil words in Nandini's company and then when he's with Fab5 and something surprising happens, he cries out in Tamil instead of his usual English. And he won't even realize what he did 🤣

Seriously eveb I want her out of the house, plotwise its not doing anything to the story anymore and I really want to see Manik's reaction to her in college. Imagine the expression of Fab5😆 when Manik actually exclaims in Tamil, even better he should go"Ayappa save me" 😆

Monday is here at last! Could do with some cheering up. 21 mins of unadulterated MaNan would help significantly. These two have become my stress busters and the forum of course. Please let Dhruv not save Nandu, I just don't want to watch anyone except MaNan. Dhruv puts me to sleep.

But I really want Nandini to wear a half-saree or anything traditional for event like Diwali. Boys in Indian telly get reaaalllyyy turned on when they see the girl all dressed up traditionally 😆

Lets discuss Manik's parents, I have always wondered where his dad was and is the wealth in Manik's name, because I thought Manik was asked to sign some cheques or something in his conversation with Noyonika in the beginning.

I have always wondered that too. If I remember correctly Manik was asked to get something signed from his dad. It is obvious they are separated. I have been thinking his father is ill or something, although I can't explain why I feel that.😕
